I keep getting the attached "Sierra Chart Open Orders" message for the 2 sub instances when exiting Sierra. However, I have no open order and I also checked with broker....no open orders. The curious thing is that I get the message on 2 sub instances (when I exit) also and I don't trade on both sub instances. The main instance does no give the open orders message. I don't know how to get this message cleared. it seems to have started with the update to version 2270. Please help. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2021-06-15 19:45:37

There must be an open order and it would be listed in Trade >> Trade Orders Window within that instance.

Thanks you . I do see what appears to be the remaining child orders for the stop and target on 6/11 when looking at the trade orders. However, I do not see them in the trade activity log. These are left over SIM orders. I usually can delete them from the activity log but it is empty and the 2 orders are still showing on the Trade Order page. How can i delete/cancel them. the cancel etc. does not work on the trade order page. The same is true for a second instance I have. I attached pictures of the two instances below. Could you clear these for me? they are obviously not active since we have went through these prices at a later date. The exact same orders are in Instances 2 and 3 as show below |

Go to the main instance of Sierra Chart and enable Trade Simulation Mode: Trade Menu: Trade Simulation Mode On (Trade menu) And then go to each of those sub instances, and make sure they are connected to the main instance, and then cancel the orders: Trading Information Windows: Canceling Orders Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. That did not help. These orders are not active. just left over garbage. I decided to just reinstall Sierra and setup the instances again. The new installation is fine. I'm deleting the old installation with the rogue orders. I'm assuming that is OK? Thaks, that was a really weird issue. |

If they are not able to be canceled we need to see the rejection in the Trade >> Trade Service Log: Support Board Posting Information: Providing Lines From Trade Service Log I decided to just reinstall Sierra and setup the instances again. No! No, definitely do not do this at all. It is completely unnecessary, and a drastic operation. You just need to follow the instructions here: Trading Information Windows: Deleting Trade Orders File Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Unfortunately i already did this. But i do maintain daily backups. If there's a file related to Service Log what is the name? i can always replace the new one and send the information. If that's not possible i was just wondering if there was some harm done since these we rogue orders and i believe sim based. |
