Hello, I hope this finds you well. An action has been performed: Removed the Authorized Trading Account (AC121019) for the tt_order_routing.dtc.trading trading service. I don't understand why this has happened. I am not able to use my account. my account does not connect. please advise me further. i need to sort this issue as soon as possible. There is a solution to this: The reason this was done is explained here: Questions and Answers Regarding TT (Trading Technologies) and AMP What you need to do now is: Set Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service to SC Data-All Services. And then translate the symbols for your Chartbooks with this Edit menu command: Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service This was because AMP removed the trading account from the TT system. You are currently receiving data through Sierra Chart. In about three weeks though, you will need to connect Sierra Chart to a funded trading account. If you already have an account with AMP, have them set you up on the CQG system so you can connect once a month to that.

I did all that, but still have a problem with the system. When I open sierra chart the chartbooks open, the charts do not download the data. Some charts have a yellow symbol saying: Waiting to download historical data, and other charts have a blue symbol saying: Downloading continuous contract data. I am not able to trade again today because of this, please advise me further to resolve this issue. Thank you. |

When you first open the chartbooks after making the changes from above, it will take a few minutes to open the charts, as the system is redownloading the data since you have new symbols. Be sure to wait at least 10 minutes to make sure the data all downloads. Also, we are wondering if you are wanting to make trades directly from within Sierra Chart. If that is the case, then you will need to talk to AMP about getting you setup with CQG for Order Routing. They should have already done this, but it does not sound like you received any information from them on this topic. Let us know when you have the CQG information and we will direct you further. When I open sierra chart the chartbooks open, the charts do not download the data. It will take time for the historical data to finish downloading because you are using new symbols and continuous futures charts which apparently are set to load a large number of days.
