problems with AMP connectivity and trading

hi my trade-->"account balance window" is not updated account with AMP any idea what shall I do? another issue is that when trying to send an order and I get SC Futures Order Routing/Data order update (Order reject). AMP is no longer supporting the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service. You should have received information from AMP that they were moving you to CQG for order routing. If you have your CQG information, then you need to follow these instructions to setup your Sierra Chart to connect to CQG: CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions If you do not have the CQG information then get with AMP and ask them about it. Once you get the credentials, follow the instructions as noted above. After you complete the instructions, then open your Chartbooks and select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service to update your symbols to CQG symbols. if my feed is Denali, why there is a symbol change? also if I have 2 instances, 1 in live trading through CQG, and the 2nd instance with Denali (in terms of symbol structure)? or it's both denlai juts the structure of the name is different? |

The symbols are different depending on the service selected. All services use a different set of symbols. We take care of translating the symbol for the specific service to what you need from the data feed. But you do need to select the right symbol for the service that is selected. The best way to do this is to open all new symbols from the Find Symbol page. And if you change the setting for Service in the Data/Trade Service Settings, you are asked to update the symbols, but it is also a good idea to select Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service.
