I switched my direct service for Sierra Charts and Dinali. I believe they are activated, at least Dinali says activated. AMP is still showing CQG and I went to the Data Service Settings Window and I don't know how to change CQG to Dinali. Please advise |

Will you be using CQG for trading with your broker AMP? If so, then Sierra Chart does need to be set to CQG. I'm sorry I don't really understand and am getting so frustrated. I thought you didn't recommend CQG, so I signed up for Dinali when I signed up and paid direct for SC. I'm sorry, I've tried to read all about it and saw that you SC doesn't like CQG, so I picked Dinali. Do I need them both? On the instructions that you referenced it is different on my SC. There is no drop down list, it is just defaulted to CQG and I can't change it. I intended to have Dinali and not CQG, is that not right? Before, i just paid CQG and not Dinali. I want to get this switched over ASAP so that I can cancel my data feed and CQG before the end of the month. I'm really not good at this computer stuff. Would you please look at my account and let me know what I need to do in order to finish this process. Just learning the software has been a huge struggle for me. Also, I have a sub account that is the same number but ends with an A. I didn't know but was sending support tickets from that account and a reply from SC told me that the account was expired. I'm not sure why that would be. Is that something that I would talk to AMP about? I think I can use two accounts with one SC package? Please advise, thank you! |

First of all, Denali is a Data Feed. That is all. Sierra Chart also has the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service, but that service is no longer supported by AMP. When TT had their issues with order routing to the CME Group about a month ago, AMP decided to end their service with TT, thus ending the support for the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service, which uses TT in the background. Therefore, since you are with AMP, they should have changed you to using CQG for your Order Routing. We do not recommend using CQG Data, but for Order Routing it is fine. We do see that you are signed up for the Denali Data Feed, and it looks like you are setup to connect to CQG. Given this, you should be good to move forward and trade again. The only thing you will need to do is to let AMP know that you no longer want the data from CQG (just the data, you still need CQG for order routing). With regards to the multiple accounts, we do not know why exactly, the second Sierra Chart account that ends with A was created. You should just continue to use the account that DOES NOT end with A and that you have posted to this board with. You should have access to both accounts from within Sierra Chart. Refer to the following for how to change your Trading Account: Basic Trading and the Trade Window: Main/C >> Trade Account (Selecting Trade Account for Chart / Trade DOM) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Thanks for your reply. Could you please offer any insight as to why my SC sticks and is slow when moving around my charts since I switched all of this? It's horrible and I've looked at slow issues with SC and I have no clue how to know which would apply to me because it does seem that this all started 2-3 weeks ago when I made the switch. |

It is very hard for us to help with a subjective item like the charts seem slow. There are just so many different things can could apply. Especially if you have a lot of studies, or some of the more intensive studies like the Market Depth Historical Graph. Therefore, we can only point you to the following documentation that covers a number of different situations that could apply. Please review this information: High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often Also, it helps to troubleshoot by starting with a single basic chart and ensuring that it is working properly. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I used to use SC and not CQG, could that be the reason why? Everything was fine until I switched to paying SC directly and changed everything over. From what I understand SC is no longer offering the service and I need to use CQG? Before I used CQG and SC and now I'm using CQG and Dinali so I'm assuming that is't Dinali. When I disconnect the feed then my computer goes back to how it was before I switched over which was very fast.
