To whom it may concern, My data continues to freeze about every 30 minutes even after recently switching away from CQG to Denali under the impression that it would solve this problem. That process was long and very frustrating. I don't know what else to do in order to continue using Sierra Chart. I posted a similar message a couple of days ago and the response was something about contacting a developer for an indicator(Ticino Math) I was using. I've since stopped using it and yet my data continues to freeze. Please advise. Here is the entire message log. (Message Log removed) Date Time Of Last Edit: 2020-11-20 18:28:42

The first thing to do is to run Sierra Chart in Safe Mode: Sierra Chart - Software Login Instructions: Using Safe Mode And also on the Sierra Chart Login window set Sierra Chart not to open files on startup. Do not open any of your existing Chartbooks. Simply do not use them for at least a few hours. Open a single chart without any studies. And then see if you still notice the issue. And we need to understand the problem better. How long do you notice this "freeze" for. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. I will follow your instructions and report back. The "freezes" have been happening for many, many months and probably a year or more and they last for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. I started testing another charting package today. In fact just within the last approx. 2 hours and I'm surprised to see that the same thing happened on that one and it's using CQG. I switched Sierra Chart away from CQG just 2 days ago to Denali in an effort to solve this problem. However, now, I'm beginning to suspect that it could be with my computer system or internet provider and I don't have the tech skills to solve this on my own. What should I do? Please advise.
