Denali feed and order routing...

Hi, Yesterday I finally switched my Rithmic data feed for SC's to Denali in addition to having the order routing through SC's. Everything looks fine in regards to Denali with the [M} showing, I was charged properly for the data feed and Level 1 data, etc., but when I open a "Trade Window for Chart" where my account number should be I have the word "Unset." My broker is aware of the change and I've sent everything they required today hours in advance of the close so they no doubt got to it so I don't know what's up. I realize this is likely not on SC's end but am confused as to what I should do next. On the Data/Trade Service Settings I changed the service from "Rithmic Trading [trading]" to "SC Data - All Services [data]" and that should be right and don't think I changed anything else. Is there anything on my end here that I may have messed up before I go back to the broker? Thanks... |

We are not seeing any of the documentation requesting the Sierra Chart Order Routing service to be setup. To do this you need to follow the instructions here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartOrderRoutingServiceWithData.php#SetupInstructions In the meantime, if your broker still has you setup to trade through Rithmic (but not get their data) then you can just select Rithmic Trading for your Data/Trade Service Setting. Hi, I had already sent in the request form but Dorman is messing around with me needing two accounts for billing purposes in regards to me using both the Denali and Rithmic data feeds. In the instructions I see I'll be contacted by both Dorman and yourselves and am hoping this will be completed by tomorrow. I've already missed two trading days and tomorrow will be another. This is not your fault I realize but this whole thing is taking way too long. They've already switched me to Denali according to my broker so I don't know if I can use the "Rithmic Trading" for the Data/Trade Service setting. I just tried it and the message "Data or Trading service has been changed. Do you want to translate the symbols in the open Chartbooks to match the selected service?" Are you sure I can use this and not somehow have too many connections for the CME and then I'm considered a professional instead of a non-professional or something else unintended? Anyway, thanks for your response. |

You definitely are not, going to have any problems with the exchange and exchange fees using different connections like this. This is not relevant.
