Missing Some Intraday data on 5min Chart

Hi there, it seems I still have the same problem that if a ticker is not on my chart before the market open, and i open it during the market hour, some of the data on my 5min chart is missing. It seems that it depends on the ticker. Some tickers are fine, and some tickers have this problem. Below is my message log as you suggested last time. Sure. For example, i just typed in TEVA at 1:10pm est, and it's missing 5min bars starting from 12;55- 1:00, and part of bar of 1:05 pm.

If I delete data and download data again, the missed data in that period will be filled but will have a new missing period, the past 15min this is another random ticker i tried and here's the screen shot http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=157479640456.png |

This is now fixed in version 2017 and all users have been notified. This was an issue affecting users who have their systems running for 50 days or more. Or perhaps less. It may have also been a problem if your system is running for 25 days without a restart. Hi i downloaded version 2017 and it seems I still miss 15min data, same issue as before. Just tried with ticker CANF. I shut down my computer every day.

i just tried a random ticker FTNT, at 11:22 est. the missing data is always 15min prior to when i type in the ticker for the chart. Also, here's a chart I used earlier, i typed in the ticker around 10:10 est and 15min of data before that is missing. This was a Barchart exchange authorization issue. We have corrected it on their side. We see this from time to time. Very saddening we have to put up with this.

Do you mean you just corrected on their side so the problem is fixed, or you tried to fix it before, but the problem still exits? Missing the most recent 15min data makes it really hard to trade... My sierra chart data just expired. I'm wondering, is it a issue with sierra chart data or sierra chart software? so if i were to switch to IQfeed, would the problem be fixed or still exit? You say "we see this from time to time",I didn't have this problem before with sierra chart data. How can i go back to not having this missing data problem? Please advise,thank you.

We did correct the problem. It is now resolved. The problem relates to you having two real-time connections. It is an issue on the Barchart side, but it is an infrequent problem and once we are aware of it we simply just activate the exchanges on the additional connections. There is no need to use IQ Feed. You are still far far better off using the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed and you are not going to have any issues. This is an isolated incident. It would be a mistake to go to IQ Feed. Trust us on this. We have a lot of experience. IQ Feed is not trouble-free. You do need to reactivate the Sierra Chart exchange data feed on your account. Let us know if you need help with that.
