Cannot Connect To New TransAct Socket

I saw the message about updating to pre-release to use new TransAct socket and now software doesn't work. I get an "Account Login Error" message when I run the software. So program does launch but doesn't connect to broker. I rolled back to current version and had the same results. I then tried a couple of specific previous versions but when I do I get the message "This Version Is No Longer Supported" and it downloads the current version which of course doesn't connect. Ergo, I'm stuck. I'll be out of the office for the next 4-5 hours but would greatly appreciate your help to fix this.

First, contact Transact at support@transactfutures.com to help you get connected. Only they are able to resolve the connectivity issue. Tell them you are using the Transact websocket connection. Let them know the error message. You can see the settings being used for the connection through Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings. The settings are on the left in the Service Setting list. To go back to an earlier version, follow the instructions here: Software Download: Software Rollback Procedure You will need to go back to version 1941. Version 1941 still works using the SC/Transact Bridge. You can try rolling back to 1941. |

We updated the prior post of ours to indicate to use 1941 but we understand now the reason for the connection problem and will implement a solution for it. The orders connection to Transact is not allowed and is giving an unrecognized message. We will allow the connection for market data only. The new version which will work with Transact market data only is coming out in about 20 minutes and will be 1959. We need a more precise explanation for post #8. What exactly is not working and what version are you using? If you have any connectivity problems to Transact only Transact support will be able to help with those. Even this latest change we made is something that Transact could have resolved on their side without us doing anything by simply allowing the orders connection but just rejecting order submissions, modifications and cancellations.
