Connection problem with Transact

Hello Support, As of last week I have started experiencing connection problem to Transact / Infinity after the end of day session. Once the trading terminates 5 PM EST my SC terminates the connection and I am no longer able to connect the platform once the trading resumes at 6 PM EST. Manually disconnecting from Data Feed and Connecting Back also does not work and platform remains off-line no matter how many times I try to reestablish the connection from the File Menu. I have contacted Transact Support Desk more than several times and they continue to blame my machine. I entirely disagree with that because my machine has not changed its configuration for more than 6 months except the upgrades to the new version of Sierra Charts. To give Transact Support the benefit of the doubt (even though I am confident this is NOT the problem) I have even disabled Norton Internet Security because Transact keep blaming that as a source of the issue. The only way for me to get around this problem is to restart the platform. After platform restart I am able to successfully connect. This has never been the case before and I cannot wait for 20 min to reload all my chart books every time the day session terminates. If you could provide any advice I would greatly appreciate it. I am running direct account Sierra Chart (NOT Infinity White Label) 1915-64 Bit on Windows 10 Professional 64 Bit. The error message in the log says the following: TransAct Trading | Starting server: C:\SierraChart\Transact\TransactToSierraBridge.exe | 2019-05-12 18:08:36 Created process C:\SierraChart\Transact\TransactToSierraBridge.exe. Yes we apologize for this. We have been very busy with support and this had been overlooked. We think the best thing rather than struggling with this old substandard bridge program, developed by Transact, is that you use the new transact websocket API. As long as you don't need to trade and just want to use market data, then we can make that available to you, tomorrow at the soonest. Thank you Support, no apology is necessary. You provide outstanding assistance and it's entirely understandable that things can get overlooked from time to time. If I understand correctly the API will not allow me to place trades from the charts or use Sierra Charts DOM but only access Transact market data to feed the SC platform, correct? Adn I will not be able to see my orders on the charts either? If this is the case then unfortunately this will not work for me. |

Yes this is the case but it is only temporary. We expect this to change in about two weeks. So a solution will be available in two weeks.

Thank you Support. Great to hear that permanent solution via API from Sierra to Transact will be available shortly. I would be very much interested to implement this functionality rather than deal with mediocre Bridge software developed by Transact. Please let me know once this is available. Thank you.
