Blank Chartbooks after Updating

Hello. I recently asked Sierra Chart Support if I could get some help to fix a problem with I.B. intraday data downloads that would disconnect, then reconnect repeatedly when downloading the intraday data at the beginning of the day, and it was suggested that I upgrade the version of Sierra Chart to the newest version in which it was suggested that I used the "Fast Update" route and that I should in the future direct all enquires to the Support Board not Support.

Since I completed the download of version 1733, only a few of my chartbooks contain all of the setups I had on them even though Sierra Chart was up and running when I was downloading the new version and the "Data" folder and "Backup" folder addresses were not changed, most of the chartbooks are blank and just a few chartbooks have a complete page with the layout they had before.

I read the documentation carefully before doing the upgrade (of which I am always cautious), followed instructions as required and backed up my "data" using the Data folder and the Backup folder before downloading.

I would like not to have to start very close to scratch on this since I put a lot of work into these chcartbooks over the years. Can you help me?

What we want you to do is to go to the Backups folder in the folder Sierra Chart is installed to, and provide us a backup from about a week ago, before the update, of one of the Chartbooks that does not open properly.

Follow the instructions here to attach it:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#AttachFile

We will then test it and see what the issue is.

To rectify the problem could I delete the files in the Backup folder in the new updated version of Sierra Chart and then copy and paste the Backup files individually from an external drive that I backed up this past friday BEFORE the updating of Sierra Chart?? They all appear to have the proper amount of data in them as I recall.

I noticed that you said above "Chartbooks that does not open properly." It's not that they don't open, it's that they don't have all the "files" in them (where there used to be maybe 8 charts now there might be 1 chart with the other ones missing)If any body wishes to comment please do so.

We need you to provide us one of those Chartbooks that does not open properly. Even if it is just opening 1 chart. That is what we need to resolve the problem.

The answer is no to post #3. No not at all. That will not help you.

The Chartbook with the name 20.Intraday-D.Diff (RB-HO-ZL-ZM).cht opened with 6 charts for us. How many charts did you expect?

We are certainly going to help you out and figure out why you are having a problem on your side.

That is the one with 218.66 bk from the 15th of april , long before i did the upgrade. The one with the 21.71 kb is the one I have today.Obviously there are charts missing from the 21.71 kb chartbook. That is my problem. This has happened to several other chartbooks that I have collected 5-6 years of intraday data. That is a problem. I have all of these things on thumb drives and another offsite. It's showing April 23 but that is because I looked at it today and found the other charts not there in the chartbook (only the one)and then unfortunately SAVED the chartbook with the single chart in it.
P.S. I am using Windows 10 home at 64

You may have been affected by the problem described here:
Version 1731 Only Opens One Chart from Chartbook

You are currently running version 1733 which is not affected by this. So perhaps you had run 1731 previously.

Use the larger Chartbooks you have from whatever backup source, to get your charts back. We would not expect a problem in version 1733.

Let us know if you need more help.

We are also willing to use remote assistance to help you with this.
