Hi,

When trying to update from v1545 to v1568, I get this in the log:

Error moving C:\SierraChart\SierraChartInstance_2\DownloadedInstallationFiles\SierraChart.exe file to the folder C:\SierraChart\SierraChartInstance_2\. Windows error code 5: Access is denied. | 2017-07-04

I already have updated the main instance to v1568 without issue.

Thanks

You do not need to update the second instance

It happens automatically when you start it again from the main instance.

Just simply exit from it. And start it again from the main instance with File >> New Instance.

Dear Support,
I am getting the same error, however I only have one instance installed. I am using the latest Windows 10. I have updated SC many times in the past and have not seen this error before. Can you please assist? Thanks.

When the Sierra Chart installer is running, was Sierra Chart running at the same time? It needs to have been exited.

If you did exit from Sierra Chart, then the only other conclusion is that this is caused by some security program on your system.
