This used to happen to me when I subscribed to SC equities datafeed. First time I've noticed it with my CTS feed: Current daily bar SOMEHOW graphs it's current high/low the SAME as the prior bar. For example here, ES daily bar today is showing that we traded down to the same low as yesterday's low. This is not accurate for ES price movement today, we did not go that low. This is due to how the CTS data feed works. Reconnect to the data feed: File Menu: Procedure to Reconnect to the Data and Trade Servers And select Edit >> Reload Historical Charts. To avoid this problem use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed: Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed You will not have this problem with futures. You should also be aware of the new connection model to CTS: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/CTS_T4.php#SetupInstructionsForAdvancedLowCostConnectionModel Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Thank you for your response. I would rather hear, that since you do offer a CTS connection with your software, that you would make a real attempt to fix the issue rather than tell me I can purchase your SC feed or have to take extra steps in my day to 1) spot erroneous data charted, and 2) take steps to rectify it which takes attention away from trading. Respectfully. |

There is nothing we can do to solve this from our side but we will check again. We have gone over this with CTS previously. The whole reason we provide the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed and developed the new connection model to CTS is to solve to common problems that users have with external services which we do not have any control over. So we do in effect are providing a solution. It is available to use. For now you just need to reconnect to the data feed once a day. This can be set to be automatic through Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Advanced Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
