Some of those symbols are cash Forex symbols. And to get the CME data at reduced exchange fees requires a trading account. I'm confused. I already have a trading account with you and trading Bund / EUREX in real time and paying $54 a month; are you telling me I have to pay another lot of money or is there some confusion over this at your end Regards, Mark |

Hello Sierra - Did you get my message please? To reiterate I have a trading account with you and paying around $50 a month for live data with Eurex and Bund. Can you advise me if I'm expected to have ANOTHER account to get real time prices on FOREX? Thanks - Mark B |

Mark, We do apologize for the delay. What we are referring to is a funded trading account. We understand that is with FUTEX (UK). In order to receive the real-time CME data at the reduced exchange fees, there needs to be programmatic confirmation that you have a funded trading account. That does not exist with FUTEX (UK) at this time and that is the source of the problem. Is that the clearing company? Can they confirm every month that you have the trading account? We will have to put in place a manual procedure to confirm you have a trading account but it does create an administrative burden. Hello Sierra Thanks for your reply FUTEX are a recognised prop house in the UK (http://www.futex.co.uk/) where I did a 3 month training course at the end of 2015 to learn about Futures trading and MacroEconomics; I then pay them a monthly fee for access to the exchanges and trading ladders and go through their clearing house(s). I am not a pro trader; I undertook the course to do an MSc (Degree / UK Masters in Science) through / with them and I dabble in trades to cover my fees (which you will see from the attached are expensive) and to support my education I also have an account with AMP (See statement attached), which I initially set up to trade Futures on a part time basis If the 3 attached are not enough then can you please advise what you require from FUTEX in the way of paperwork to confirm this account please Regards, Mark Boast Date Time Of Last Edit: 2016-04-06 05:57:35

Since there is a one month free trial for the CME Group, until we hear from your broker we have activated it on your account without requiring a trading account. Restart Sierra Chart and you can access the real-time CME data now. But we can only do it for this month and no other months until the trading account is confirmed independently by your broker. And this is not the preferred method to do this. If you have a funded trading account with AMP, then you can connect to it with Sierra Chart since they use TTNet, CQG and Rithmic. In this way, you will be able to access the CME data without having confirmation from your broker that you have a trading account.
