It says wrong username or password, I have not changed any settings since last trading session, have just retyped username & password, but no luck. FXCM's own trading platform is working fine on my PC.

Could there be a glitch in the FIX-API itself, that a reset or other action (from within SC) would resolve?

...as the Username & Password I am using are 100% correct, as I can successfully login to www.MyFXCM.com to view my account and successfully login to the FXCM platform (Marketscope) on my PC.

We will send the following to FXCM:
We cannot comment on the FXCM logging because we do not know exactly how that works and exactly what is being logged and why.

We can only comment on what we see from the Sierra Chart Log when connecting to the FXCM FIX server.

At this point in time, there has been a successful connection to the FIX server and a BE message is being sent to the FXCM server:
FXCM FIX Trading session: Session connected. Sending logon user request. | 2015-11-30 09:42:01

The FXCM server then responds with a User status text from BF message:
"DAS 19915: ZDas Exception
ORA-20101: Wrong user name or password
ORA-06512: at "A10R1.API", line 429
ORA-06512: at line 1"

A logout message is received from the FXCM FIX server:

FXCM FIX Trading session: Received a Logout message. Text = user not recognised or password incorrect.2 | 2015-11-30 09:42:01

Sierra chart then sends a logout message and gracefully disconnects.

any update, as I still have no connection?

incidentally, I had not changed or touched any settings in SC or my OS.
FXCM normally close their Servers on Saturdays and I just click Disconnect in SC (to stop it from trying to reconnect); as it is the weekend. On Sundays (yesterday) before rebooting my PC I usually check SC for any Download Current Version updates, which there were none, but this morning (Monday) it just will not connect.

The last we heard from FXCM is they are looking into the issue on their side.

Since we do not know your Username or Password and it is their server indicating a problem with those, really it is not within our ability to solve this.

We also have provided FXCM the background technical information we have given above.

With the new connection model, while your particular case is unusual, it will be less likely with this connection model. Although if our server had a problem connecting to FXCM for the same reason, that it will prevent all users from connecting so that would not be good but we would also expect FXCM to promptly resolve it since the connection will carry a large number of users.
