I purchased Sierra Chart Service Package 11 (Integrated Advanced) and had the Denali Data Feed. But then I bought a Topstep Trading Combine account with 50K, and they use the Rithmic Data Feed. I also purchased Market Depth data from Topstep for $39 to get order depth so that I can use footprint charts and volume profile. I approved the Rithmic agreements and everything, and I am connected to Rithmic. But now I can't load my chartbook, which contains multiple charts. My chartbook won't load, and I get an error message. I don't know why ?

You did not change the symbols for the charts when you changed services, so the symbols are wrong. With the Chartbook open, select "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service" to update the symbols for Rithmic. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I'm having trouble getting my charts to load in Sierra Chart, and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Someone from Topstep told me that I need to use Rithmic as my trading service (order routing) but that my data feed must be Denali Data Feed. They also said I need to subscribe to live CME data, and that’s why my setup isn’t working. From what I understand: • Sierra Chart previously supported both order routing and data feeds from Rithmic, but they have now changed their policy. • Sierra Chart no longer allows Rithmic's data feed—instead, they provide their own Denali Data Feed. • Sierra Chart still supports Rithmic for order routing. • Since I have a Topstep account, Topstep requires me to use Rithmic for order routing and not Sierra Chart's Teton Order Routing. • For the data feed, Topstep allows the use of Denali Data Feed, meaning I must subscribe to Sierra Chart’s own data service. Now, when subscribing to live CME data, I see that I need a live funded futures account to qualify for non-professional CME data rates. I do have a live funded futures account with AMP Futures, and I currently have $50 in the account. • Does this qualify me for non-professional CME live data? • Does my AMP account need to be actively traded, or is simply having $50 deposited enough? (I don’t trade on this account; I just have funds in it.) Additionally, when filling out the CME market data agreement, I’m unsure what to enter in the following fields: 1. Trading Account Number – Do I enter my AMP Futures account number? 2. Clearing Firm – Should I enter AMP Global Clearing? 3. Name of Salesperson at the Broker/FCM – What should I put here if I don’t have a specific contact? I would really appreciate any help with this setup! I’m attaching a screenshot of the agreement I need to fill out to get non-professional data. Will I have to pay for the first month of the data feed, or will it be free the first time I use it? I’m attaching the data feed plan I’m planning to purchase for $39 USD. I want to make sure I’m selecting the right data feed that allows me to use footprint charts, volume profile, and order flow analysis. I plan to trade S&P 500 and Nasdaq futures. Is this the correct data feed for my needs? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2025-02-15 16:36:34

Hi Sivle, I've read your posting. First step I would do is to upgrade SC software, because now the Rithmic connection is back (2737 and higher) and yes a Live AMP-account should be ok and regarding the real-time data, $13.--/calendar-month should be ok, if you just trade ES and NQ. The $39.-- package you clicked would be good to get Level2 data for all 4 CME-group exchanges. So if you don't need Level2 data for the other 3 exchanges, but you want to get realtime data, you can always use the $6.--/calendar-month for Level1 data (it all depends if you need Level1 oder Level2 data). I prefer to use Denali data and connect my Rithmic-account just to trade, but if you prefer to use your Rithmic-Data, try the solution with the upgrade. |

They say that i cant use rithmic data with sierrachart just only dnali datafeed but i can use rithmic order routing. Topstep wants me to use rithmic order routing and sierra wants me to use denali datatfeed because rithmic data does not work.

As said, you also can use Denali data to connect SC and this is the best data you can connect SC and connect your Topstep Rithmic account (of course you need this connection if you want to connect a TopstepStep account), but as also said they brought back the Rithmic-connection as well (with SC build 2737 and higher), so the best way is (as also said) update your outdated SC version and give it a try to connect your Topstep account (enter your Rithmic credentials 3times), if it doesn't work you can try the way with Denali data and connect your Topstep account (I've no idea what you're doing wrong, we already tried to help you on Topstep discord, so follow the instructions you get and it will work)

I have Sierra Chart version 2737 now, and I think I did everything correctly. I can get my charts up, but I already unsubscribed from my market depth Level 2 data from Topstep, which might have been a mistake. As you mentioned, I could use Sierra Chart’s Denali Data Feed and pay less since I’m only going to trade MES, ES, and NQ. I can also connect my Rithmic account. Regarding the Rithmic account – is that another name for order routing? Should I use Teton order routing or Rithmic? I have Sierra Chart Service Package 11 (Integrated) and believe I’m using Rithmic order routing because I have a Topstep account. Is order routing the same as trade service? Also, why can’t I log into RTrader at the same time as I have Sierra Chart open? I heard that you get a better connection or something like that and that you can use it to exit positions if Sierra Chart malfunctions or if the data feed disconnects for some reason. Is that true, and is RTrader supposed to be used as a backup for security? I’m attaching some images to show what it looks like. |

Everything looks fine,I guess there is still a lot you have to learn. Yes, also the order-routing looks good, it means that you can connect your account and this seems to work now. The problem regarding R-Trader Pro, this is also correct, because with your Rithmic-data, you just can connect 1 platform, that's why you get this info, if you close SC, you will be able to connect R-Trader Pro again (of course you should also know that Rithmic is down most time of the weekends), with other platform you can use it with "plug-in mode" to connect more than 1 platform, but SC doesn't have this "plug-in mode", but this is no problem, if there are really problems (what always can happen), just close SC and open R-Trader Pro to close a trade. If you really need Level2 you should use the Denali Level2-data connection and subscribe on your SC-account (and not on your prop account, this will not work). |

I have already paid for Market Depth Level 2 data at my prop firm, but I canceled it today. However, I can still use it until March 1st. After that, I plan to purchase the Denali data feed. My question is based on the pictures I provided: Have I set it up correctly? Most importantly, does my Market Depth Level 2 data from my prop firm work? Do I need to wait until the market opens to verify if it’s working? For example, if the DOM and footprint chart are moving, does that confirm that it’s working? Regarding my question about data feeds and order routing: Data feed: In our case, there are two different data feeds: 1. Denali Data Feed (from Sierra Chart) 2. Rithmic Data Feed (from Rithmic) The data feed provides live CME data, such as prices and orders from the exchange. Order routing: This is a trade service that sends your orders to the exchange. In our case, we have two different order routing services: 1. Teton Order Routing (from Sierra Chart) 2. Rithmic Order Routing (from Topstep) Did I understand this correctly? I would appreciate an answer. |
