Why cant i download more than a couple weeks of data? I am using a CQG feed on my second instance of Sierra.

Your log shows the following: Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds is disabled.
Therefore, you should not be getting any data at all, as this tells the system to not use the data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed. Please do the following: - Select "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings". - Set the option for "Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds" to "Yes". - Select OK to close that window. - Select "File >> Reconnect" After this you will be getting your data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed and you should not have any issues with getting additional historical data. Im not using the Denali data feed for my second instance of Sierra as I stated on my original email. I am using my broker's CQG data feed. I thought Denali could not be used for multiple instances? Why wont the CQG data download more than two weeks? |

You can not use CQG data for the CME Group and EUREX with Sierra Chart. We do not have support for this. We do not understand how you are getting any data at all. In order to get the historical data, you would need to use our Denali Exchange Data Feed. If you are using two different computers at the same time, then you would need to pay a second set of exchange fees in order to get the data to both systems. You can get data and do trading with Rithmic with Sierra Chart. But we highly recommend using our Denali Exchange Data Feed instead.

I tried to connect Topstep Rithmic to Sierra and it connects but I cannot download historical data with this method either. I then wanted to connect to my live broker Rithmic feed and there is not a Rithmic 04 colo as an option. The only options I see are Rithmic 01 and those will not connect with my broker credentials.

There is a lack of historical data available with Rithmic. Again, we recommend using our Denali Exchange Data Feed in order to have access to the historical data. As to the list of servers, that comes from Rithmic and we do not have any control over what servers are listed. If you are looking for something that is not there, then you would need to ask your broker or Rithmic about this.
