Hi,

I have a crude oil chartbook, I'd like to see both CLQ, and CLU contracts within the same chartbook. When I open either contract expiry all charts for crude turn over.

Thank you

Are you using chart linking and linking the symbol?
Chart Settings: Chart Linking >> Symbol (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Linking menu)
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

All those settings are off.

Normally when I would update different chartbooks for ES and NQ. I'd get the yellow box, and just rollover and all the charts would rollover.

This is a bit different, since it's important to see the spread/curve of different contract expiration dates especially with commodities.

Is there a way to do it individually, if all those linkingsettings are off?

Second option would be to just save templates with studies, and open the different contract expiries from the contract list. And just not roll over any chart. And I would have to turn off the Detect Rollover of Current Futures contract Symbols based on real time volume in Global>General>Charts>Symbol.

Your statements have us a bit confused. In particular, the following:
Normally when I would update different chartbooks for ES and NQ. I'd get the yellow box, and just rollover and all the charts would rollover.

Isn't this what is occurring now as well? When you select the option to rollover for a symbol, then all the charts for that symbol are going to rollover.

If you then want to have a chart for a previous contract, you would need to change the symbol for that chart to what you want. You may get the message that the symbol needs to be rolled over, but that message will go away after a few minutes.

You do not need to be concerned with the setting for "Detect Rollover of Current Futures Contract Symbols Based on Real Time Volume", as this just determines when to put up the message for rolling over. What you need to ensure is that the setting for "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Automatically Rollover Futures Symbol" is set to "No". Refer to the following:
Chart Settings: Automatically Rollover Futures Symbol (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol menu)

So I have multi timeframe ES and NQ charts, and so when it's time to rollover based on volume, yellow box comes up, I rollover the date, and it does that for all of the related charts on ES. And there is no problem with that for indices. And none of those ES or NQ charts are linked to other ES or NQ charts.

I'm just going to have to not use the roll back or roll forward within the drop down menu chart > Perform futures rollover, because it will roll, all my multi timeframe / market profiles for crude to one singular expiry, when I'm trying to have 2, maybe 3 different contracts with different expiration dates.

I'd like to ask a different question. Does SC have charts or spreads for Contango and Backwardation ?

Right now my ideas are to just use the Study/price overlay on a singular chart and see what I can finesse together.

This forward curve looks good, thank you for your replies, guess I needed to think about how to display that information better working with contracts with different expiries, this looks good.
