Hi SC,
I have a big issue.-suddenly without warning none of my instances will not load data nor work. I suddenly looked over and thought What??? My main login pages in both Sierra Chart Teton and SC All Service are working perfectly, but now NO data will update in the instance's charts, BUT a dom works that I pull up in the Teton instance. Please see the example attached. I was told by Fleri in the past when my charts would seize up to go and delete all the scid files and restart. Please see the second attached screenshot of the All Service(which I deleted all the scid files) with working bund in the main log-on, and then the not loading of anything in the charts.

So again, both main longing pages of All Service and Teton give me data as normal, but NONE of the instances in either service are updating. You see the boxes on top are green

Please advise and thank you for helping me as I am totally incapacitated right now.

Karen

I just tried reloading an instance and the charts began to populate and then the instance closed abruptly. I have sent the message log to you and typed a little message as requested.

I hit 'translate symbols to current service' and I got those fully blank black screens to go to 'downloading continuous data..' but it has been like that for 30mins now.

I am sorry to bother you but I am completely at your mercy.

JOHN I GOT IT TO WORK!!! My trying everything to get data to reload finally work. phew! But do you have any idea why certain chartbooks have now frozen a few times? I did what Fleri told me to and deleted scid files and then I keep asking it to translate or reload data. Finally it works. Are my charts too data hungry, should I spread things out over more instances?

THANK you for taking the time to think about this. Karen

We do not know what might have happened. Your Message Log does not show anything in particular related to any errors.

But, it does show that you have the wrong symbols for when your "Current Selected Service" is set to "SC Data - All Services". It sounds like you have that setup in a separate installation from your connection to the Teton Order Routing Service. If this is correct, then in that installation open your Chartbooks and select "Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service".

You should NOT delete the .scid files. If we remember correctly, you use a lot of data going back awhile with Continuous Futures Contracts. As such, if you delete the files, you will have to redownload all that data. This could easily take 30 minutes or much more.
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:
