I would like to show only the VbP study Value area. I have tried to ignore the Value area in the subgraph, however it still shows. If you look on the screenashot, you can see the black of the volume profile on the candle. the Value area and POC is in light blue and yellow POC. Thanks for your help Date Time Of Last Edit: 2024-02-22 15:19:02

The reason you are seeing the profile in the candle is because you are setting the profile to be black, and since you are using a filled candlestick, it is displaying above the bar. The solution would be to set the option for "Draw Study Underneath Main Price Graph" for the Volume by Price study so that it is "Enabled" (has a checkmark). Then the profiles will be behind the bars (but this will also include the Value Area). Refer to the following: Chart Studies: Settings and Inputs Tab >> Draw Study Underneath Main Price Graph (in the same Chart Region) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

There is not a way to get exactly what you are wanting, as we do not have an option to only display the Value Area for the Volume by Price study. If the bar lengths are not important to you, but just the height of the Value Area, then you could use the "Volume Value Area Lines for Bars" study. You can then fill the area between the Value Area High and Value Area Low if you want. Thanks for the reply John. I'd ideally like to see the par lengths and POC. Is it possible you would maybe add the possibility to have only the value area showing on the vbP study? Can i request this? Thanks for your help, its appreciated Regards Owen |

We take all requests, but we can not say when we would get to any particular request.
