The reason you are seeing the profile in the candle is because you are setting the profile to be black, and since you are using a filled candlestick, it is displaying above the bar. The solution would be to set the option for "Draw Study Underneath Main Price Graph" for the Volume by Price study so that it is "Enabled" (has a checkmark). Then the profiles will be behind the bars (but this will also include the Value Area).
