I'd like to request a moving average be added to the ATR bands study. It looks like the moving average envelope also only has a few options. Is there a way to add the adaptive moving average to this? Thanks.

We are not sure what "ATR Bands" study you are referring to. But in general, if you want to apply a Moving Average that is not part of the existing list of options, you can just set the "Moving Average Length" to be 1, which will give you no averaging. Then use the particular Moving Average study you want and use the "Based On" to apply it to the particular study you want. Refer to the following: Chart Studies: Settings and Inputs Tab >> Based On - Basing a Study on Another Study For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hello, So I believe I followed your instructions utilizing the ATRBands study (user contributed) with 2 different MAs. The first being the HULL with a 100 length and I believe I may be doing something wrong because at some points (yellow circle) the bands cross each other and the HULL itself. The second MA is user contributed and is AMA: Adaptive Stochastic Moving Average With Filters. When that is placed it completely minimizes that chart |

We are not sure exactly what you are doing or how you have this setup, so we can not respond to the question of the crossing. In terms of the study that is messing up the chart, that is because the data is close to zero. So the chart is trying to display the data at both 0 and 17393. You would have to look into how that other study is setup to determine why it is giving numbers close to zero. Another option would be to change the scale to Independent for that study, but this would probably defeat the purpose of what you are trying to use it for.
