Your log does not show any issues at all. The only items related to sockets closing are normal items that state "Socket Gracefully closed by remote side". Please go through the items at the following link: High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hi Team, I did check my Pc hardware and removed the RAMs and test it, all is good. my CPU and GPU are not overloaded when I run SC. however, if I run my chartbook, and at the last chart loading, after it's loaded, the SC terminal will freeze and stay disconnected and saying waiting to connect. after 5 min the terminal will let me click once and if I recalculate one chart, the terminal will unfrozen, and if I cancel the recalculating of that chart, the terminal will stay working fine. so in summary I have to keep one chart uploaded in order to keep it working. I did reduce the amount of data of days to be loaded, still the same issue. I did install new SSD disk and copied SC folder and try again, still the same issue. I did reinstall Nvidia Graphics card, still the same issue. I deleted all the data and download it again, Still the same issue. I install new SC terminal, still the same issue. I disabled OpenGL on SC terminal, still the same issue. I run Safe mode, worked for sometime, and I removed all the custom studies, then start as normal, still the same issue. please I spend most of my last 3 days trying to fix SC, I need real help here. Please check the attached pictures. |

So after trying so many times to get SC to work, I opened my chartbook, and added new chart and stopped the loading by cancelling the chart from loading, guess what, it worked as long as this chart is not fully loaded, my chartbook working fine with out freezing and hanging for connection. I have also attached my Task manager % of SC fully running with no issues on my system, it's windows 10 64bit with 24GB RAMs, i7 4770 3.4GH. I think there's something wrong with my connection to your backend server, please check your end for issues regrade my connections. I will keep doing that until you let me know it's fix from your end. I like to keep this ticket open until this issue is solved. BR WG |

Ok so it looks like you have a problem connecting to CQG. We cannot control that connection. Who is your broker? Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. that's not correct, because I installed new SC terminal without my CQG account added to the terminal, and still the same issue. my account is with AMP. it's the software issue when all chart completed the loading, it's freezing and disconnect from SC feed, not AMP account. Also I am trading on my account now with no issues, the chart that not completely loaded keeping sc running fine, the moment this chart loaded, the terminal will freeze and I have to end sc task from task manager. please look again, thanks |

When you notice the problem is Sierra Chart in a frozen and inoperable state where you cannot interact with any of the menus? That is what it sounds like with this statement: and I have to end sc task from task manager.
What version of Sierra Chart are you running? Sometimes there can be operating system problems related to the display of dialog windows causing a problem like this. Where Sierra Chart is not really frozen but you cannot interact with it. And when you try to interact with Sierra Chart you will get an operating system ding sound. In this case you just need to press the Escape key. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. SC ver: 2567 and when it's froze I can't access anything from sc menus, please see attached look it's fully working now only if I leave on of the chart in my chartbook unloaded fully. please check the attached picture of the one chart not fully loaded, that's keeping the terminal running fine. |
