I get that there's a million posts on this, but it's all really very confusing to me. So I shot a loom video:

https://www.loom.com/share/42e368a55df747cb961850d7142e7ceb?sid=a5e89d51-1c6e-4870-9619-505202c67f7c

Please advise on what exactly I need to do to get out of "delayed" status.

Thanks very much.

What are the exchange(s) for which you want real-time data?

If you want data for the CME Group, CFE, EUREX, or U.S. Equities, then you need to be on one of the "Integrated" packages. Refer to the information here:
Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Integrated Packages

You can not get data for the above exchanges while on Package 5, which is one of the "Base" packages.

Then you will need to go through the setup for the Denali Exchange Data Feed and eventually activate (and pay for) the exchanges for which you want the real-time data. The particular instructions can be found on the following page (there are separate instructions for the CME Group versus other exchanges):
Denali Exchange Data Feed

If you are wanting data for the CME Group, then be sure you understand their requirement for a live, funded, futures trading account in order to be considered a "non-professional". Refer to the following:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

CME - I really only trade MES and MNQ basically, so that's all I need. So, wait, I'm trying to use SC to practice in a combine, so you're saying I'm not going to be able to do that?

Got it. So, I'm trying to use a footprint, DOM, and othe rorder flow tools, so which service package am I going to need in order to do that? Obviously I'm reading the package descriptions, but it's about as clear as mud. And then, I'll follow your recommended solution of funding an account with $100 to beat the CME rules. Right?

In order to have access to the Footprint (Numbers Bars) study and to be able to connect to a trading service and/or to be able to get real-time data, you need to be on one of the "Integrated Advanced" packages (Package 11 or 12). The only difference between Package 11 and Package 12 is that Package 12 allows you to view the Market by Order data. Refer to the information at the following link:
Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Integrated Packages

To change your package, follow these instructions:
Select "Help >> Account Control Panel" on the Sierra Chart program menu. On the displayed webpage, click on the "Set Service Package for Renewal" link.

Or go to this page:
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ServicesActivation

You will need to login if you are not currently logged in.

In the "Available Services >> Choose Usage Time Service Package" frame, select the Service Package that you want to set your account to. Press the "Set" button.

The remaining service usage time on your account will be adjusted based upon the cost of the package you are changing to. If the new package is a higher-priced package, then the usage time will be reduced due to the higher price.

There is no charge for changing your Sierra Chart service package. Only your Sierra Chart account usage time ending date is adjusted.

When changing between Sierra Chart Service Packages, the usage time ending date on your Sierra Chart account is adjusted based upon the price differences between the package you are changing from and the package you are changing to.

When changing to a higher priced package, your usage time ending date will be brought back closer in time. When changing to a lower-priced package, your usage time ending date will be brought forward further out in time.

Since you are wanting the data for the CME Group, you will need to have a live, funded, futures trading account that you can connect your Sierra Chart software to, at least once a month to verify your non-professional standing for the CME Group. Prop firm accounts do not count towards this requirement. If you do not have an account, then we recommend the solution outlined at the following link (this is the $100 to beat the CME rules):
Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement

Once you have worked out the above, then you will need to follow the instructions at the following link to setup and get the real-time data for the CME Group:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges*
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:
