You need to have your trial activated in order to have more access to all the functionality and data. We have taken care of this for you, so you can now get the delayed streaming data for all of the U.S. Equities, CME Group, CFE, and EUREX. For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

The short answer is that for U.S. Equities, you can not get Market Depth data during a trial as the NASDAQ TotalView exchange requires that you pay for the data to get Market Depth data. Just so you are aware - we have a few options when it comes to the U.S. Equities data. First, if you are entering a standard symbol (AAPL) then you will be getting the data from our U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape exchange. We do not have any Market Depth data for this exchange. We also have a NASDAQ TotalView exchange, that does include the Market Depth data for the NASDAQ exchange. To get this data, you need to add a -NQTV suffix to the symbol (AAPL-NQTV). And finally, if you are subscribed to both the "U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape" and the "NASDAQ TotalView" then you can get both data combined (Bar and Volume data from Consolidated Tape and Market Depth from NASDAQ) by adding a _MBO suffix (AAPL_MBO). The Delayed Streaming futures data does include Market Depth data. So you can use those to get an idea of how the system will work. -- also please help me to make a really simple study. i need something which counts the actual delta from the open.
like on a 5minute chart it. +234 -4442 +10022 -505 simply make a summary = +5309 First, you need to get the values themselves, which is easiest to do by using the "Numbers Bars Calculated Values" study. Refer to the information here: Numbers Bars: Displaying Numeric Information Below Numbers Bars Then you would use the "Cumulative Sum of Study" to get the accumulated data. Refer to the following: Cumulative Sum of Study For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Sierra Chart does not have this data and if you are accessing it from an external data service with Sierra Chart, then external service data is not supported during the trial. So no we cannot do this.

If Interactive Brokers has that data, then you can bring it into Sierra Chart as long as you are on one of the "Integrated" packages.

Hi! i would analyze and replay only without trading footprint charts (i have now service package 5 now). but i would add market depth for using a heatmap. i will trade and im only interested in US common stocks. what is the market data i need? is it enough CME with Market Depth for non-professional Trading accounts? do i get more info and more accurate heatmap if i add something more? thanks kind regards |

If you want U.S. Equities with Market Depth then we recommend activating both the "U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape" and the "NASDAQ TotalView" exchanges. Then when you open a symbol you will need to add an "_MBO" to it (so IBM_MBO). The _MBO denotes the combination of these two exchanges. Also keep in mind that the Market Depth is only for the NASDAQ exchange itself. Refer to the information here: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Nasdaq TotalView Data Feed Notes The instructions to setup these exchanges are at the following link: Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: All Other Exchanges* We are not sure what you are asking about in terms of the CME Group. We do have Market Depth data for the CME Group, but that is Futures data, not U.S. Equities. why is that if i use NVDA-NQTV i receive 10 times less information on footprint than if i use simply NVDA?

Because the -NQTV is the NASDAQ TotalView exchange which only has volume for the NASDAQ exchange itself. When you only use the main symbol (NVDA) then you are getting the data from the U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape exchange, which has the volumes from all the U.S. Exchanges onw which an equity trades. To start with, you currently do not have subscriptions for the U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape or for the NASDAQ TotalView exchange. If you do want the real-time data for these exchanges, then you need to be on one of the "Integrated" packages. Refer to the information here: Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Integrated Packages To change your Sierra Chart Service Package, select "Help >> Account Control Panel" on the Sierra Chart program menu. On the displayed webpage, click on the "Set Service Package for Renewal" link.
Or go to this page: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ServicesActivation You will need to login if you are not currently logged in. In the "Available Services >> Choose Usage Time Service Package" frame, select the Service Package that you want to set your account to. Press the "Set" button. The remaining service usage time on your account will be adjusted based upon the cost of the package you are changing to. If the new package is a higher-priced package, then the usage time will be reduced due to the higher price. There is no charge for changing your Sierra Chart service package. Only your Sierra Chart account usage time ending date is adjusted. When changing between Sierra Chart Service Packages, the usage time ending date on your Sierra Chart account is adjusted based upon the price differences between the package you are changing from and the package you are changing to. When changing to a higher priced package, your usage time ending date will be brought back closer in time. When changing to a lower-priced package, your usage time ending date will be brought forward further out in time. When you have both of these exchanges active and are using the suffix "_MBO" with an equity symbol (such as IBM_MBO) then you will have the Volume Data for the Consolidated Tape along with the Market Depth data for the NASDAQ TotalView. This information will be available during a Replay. And it will work with the footprint (Numbers Bars) chart (keep in mind Numbers Bars does not use Market Depth data, it is actual trade data). For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

In this case follow these instructions: To access historical and streaming market data independent from your Trading service. Follow these instructions. Set "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Current Selected Service" to "SC Data-All Services". Press "OK" And then translate the symbols in your Chartbooks and Sierra Chart using this "Edit' menu command: Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service (Translate Symbols to Current Service) You can then use the data provided by Sierra Chart independent of your trading service. ---- Use the same symbol, which in this case is AMD. If you want market depth then use the symbol AMD-NQTV You can use both at the same time. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Are you still having an issue. The market was closed at the time.
