Because the -NQTV is the NASDAQ TotalView exchange which only has volume for the NASDAQ exchange itself. When you only use the main symbol (NVDA) then you are getting the data from the U.S. Equities Consolidated Tape exchange, which has the volumes from all the U.S. Exchanges onw which an equity trades.
