Hello, I am missing data from 6/27 - 8/22 on an intraday chart loading timeframe 1-0-0 for a full daily candle with 5475 days to load. I had this chart working previously, but now I cannot seem to get these days to load after completing all steps in this post: Continuous Futures Contract Charts: Re-Downloading Continuous Futures Contract Data

Please let me know what else I can do to get this information to load.

Thank you,
Jared

What is the symbol for this chart and can you please give us an image with the chart scrolled to where the missing data is (or isn't) by following these instructions:

If this is in a Sub-Instance, then go to your Main Instance of Sierra Chart and open a chart for the same symbol and bar period. See if the data is present in that main instance. If it is, then go back to the sub-instance and re-do the steps to redownload the data as defined here:
Continuous Futures Contract Charts: Re-Downloading Continuous Futures Contract Data

If the data is also missing in the main instance, then go through the instructions at the link above for the main instance first to get the data correct in there. Then do it in the sub-instance.

Sub-instances get their data through the main instance, so if there is a problem with the data in the main instance, it will trickle down into the sub-instances.

Yeah I went through those steps. It is in main instance. Just tried them again. Data is showing up in historical chart, but won't seem to load July data for intraday chart. Tried opening a fresh chart in a new chartbook without my global setting, which still did not work. Then tried using different data sources and it resulted in the same problem. Is there any other way to get a daily bar that only shows regular trading hours in lieu of regular trading hours + overnight data?

Thank you,
Jared

The only way to get a daily bar with specific hours is to use the Intraday data and set the Session Times as you want.

We need to concentrate on the Main Instance for the moment. Since using the "Delete All Data and Download" did not work, please do the following:
- Exit from Sierra Chart
- Open a File Explorer window and go to the main Sierra Chart installation folder (not the sub-instance, the main instance). Then go into the "Data" folder under that main Sierra Chart installation folder.
- Within that folder, find the file named ESU23-CME.scid and remove it.

Then start Sierra Chart again and open the chartbook that has the chart for ESU23-CME. The data will need to be redownloaded for the U contract, so it could take a minute or two.

Let us know if the data is filled in as it should be.
