I have been a SC fan for years now. I appreciate all the hard work you guys do. I do have a pet peeve that happens everyday. A chart of nothingness pops up everyday and has for years now. It has happened from the beginning over 5 different computers over the years. Any clue what this is? This has happend on NEW fresh installs. The image you linked to does not show anything (it is blank). Can you please give us an image of what you are seeing within the context of the larger Sierra Chart (in other words, we would like to see all of the Sierra Chart software with this one window also displayed). Is this coming up when you open a chartbook? When you start Sierra Chart, if you have not opened any chartbooks, then the graphics area will be empty. You can even control the color of this space with the Graphics Setting for "Main Window Background". Is this, by any chance, what you are referring to? John it has zero info on the screen. Just wondering what might trigger this for no apparent reason. It opens automatically. I can erase the .scid file and still the next day or so it opens up again.

We want you to set this port number to 0 and restart Sierra Chart: Sierra Chart Server Settings: UDP Port (Global Settings >> Sierra Chart Server Settings >> General >> General) That should resolve your problem.
