The candles or anything else is being plotted 30 seconds too late. For eg, my new TPO time period starts 30 seconds too late. First will end at say 1 hour 30 mins and 30 secs and next will pop up. Same with 1 min candles. they will not plot at say 1 min, 2 min or 3 min but at 1 min 30 sec, 2 min 30 secs and 3 min 30 secs.

Additional information - The new TPO period will start 30 seconds after the previous 30 min period has ended. Eg- A period will start at 9:30:30 and B will start at 10:00:30. The timings for the start of start and end of session has been checked is unchanged. This issue started yesterday. Until them the charts were being plotted correctly. Same error occurs with a 1 min, 5min, 10 min candlestick chart as well.

What exactly are your Session Times set to (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Session Times)?

Please see attached. You probably will not be able to see the lag in the candles being plotted.

So it's not the actual time of the bars in the time scale that is off, you feel like there is a data delay by 30 seconds?

Is this all the time, or just at the opening of the day trading?

Yes. Not feel. I can see it. My new TPO period opens 30 secs late. The minute bars are plotted anywhere from 25 secs to 30 secs late. I have minute bars at 1:20, 2:25, 3:26 and so on as opposed to them being plotted at intervals 1, 2, 3 and so on. The time stamp is what it should be. The new minute bar will get plotted after 20 secs have passed after to 60 second cycle is over. I tried updating to the new version. I deleted and downloaded the data again. Nothing helped.

Make sure your system clock is set correctly.
Global Settings Menu: Set System Date-Time from Server (Global Settings menu)

Does everything flow smoothly in terms of the data coming in? Is it just that a bar will start at 1:20 when you look at the clock on your computer, but it is showing 1:00 in the chart?

If the above is "Yes", then the issue is just a difference in the clock on your computer versus the time-stamps of the data. In which case, your computer clock is off in comparison to what the exchange uses for their time. Refer to the following for a solution:
Global Settings Menu: Set System Date-Time from Server (Global Settings menu)

If the data is stuttering, and not flowing smoothly, then you most likely have an Internet connectivity issue. Refer to the following for things to check:

The clock on the computer and the real time clock indicator will read 1:20 and then the candle gets plotted, then the next candle will plot at 2:24 and so on. But when I place the cursor pon individual candles, it says 1, 2, 3 and so on.

The "Real Time Clock" gets the time from your computer.

Select "Window >> Message Log" and scroll to the top of the log. Near the top you will see items that start with a Date and Time and then say things like the following:
"...Local computer time in UTC | ..."
"...Local Computer time in SC Time Zone |..."
"...Server time in UTC | ..."

And right below the last line above should be the following:
"Local computer UTC time and Server UTC time difference: ..."

What is the value listed after the colon (:) in the line just above? It sounds like this will be 20 seconds. If so, then the issue is just that your computer clock and the timestamps from the exchange are different.

John, this has been fixed. I had to reset the clock few times on my local computer.

Thanks.

Highly recommend installing and utilizing https://www.timesynctool.com/ to keep your computer clock in sync. PC clocks are notoriously horrible at keeping accurate time.

Disclaimer: I'm not affiliated in any way with the tool, but I do use it to keep my clock synchronized (works flawlessly on Win10).
