What exactly occurs? Are you getting any error messages? After you place a trade and have this issue, open your "Trade >> Trade Service Log" and copy and paste what is in there to this thread for us to take a look. i am using the dom on the side of the chart and when i click on the price ladder my order will appear for about a second and then disappear. i have been trading on sim and was using SC data "all services" and everything was working fine. i have denali feed, i may be using the wrong feed to get live data

Please try to enter an order again, and after it disappears open the "Trade >> Trade Service Log" and copy and paste the information from there into this thread. There should be information on what happened with the order if there was a rejection or other specific issue. Also, take a look at your "Trade Activity Log" and see if there is any information in the "OrderActionSource" for the orders you are putting in that are not showing up. See if there is any information in there, and let us know what you see. i am still not getting correct data , and now when ever i place an order lets say long, it gets me short on another chart i had open , why would it do that, every time i "cancel" order or Flatten" it just does the opposit on the other chart, i can never get out of a trade, im not to happy that this has taken so long to figure out, and i am still not going to be able to trade untill i trust the sierra charts is working properly, i woke up to my SIM acct being down 196 points. an i have not done anything to make that happen,

I have AMP as clearing firm and trying to start trading via Teton, all seems fine for now. There is one question I have however. In order to get my AMP account setup for trading via Teton, I addressed their support and changed Live trading credentials to Teton. Respectively, no order routing via CQG now. The question is: Does that imply that I will not have to fulfill once a month connection to confirm I have a live trading account anymore? |
