Can you please tell me ALL of the places to look for trade alert settings. I've checked those I'm aware of, and that I can find while searching for the answer including Global trade settings and chart trade settings. All those settings are set to No or No Alert, and I'm still getting sound alters on every trade fill.

Thank you and I appreciate the help.

The settings for alerts related to trades are in the "Trade >> General Trade Settings >> Notifications". Refer to the information here:
Global Trade Settings Windows: Notifications (Global Settings >> General Trade Settings)
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

Thanks John, but yes, all of those alerts are set to "No Alert Sound" and I'm still getting the alert sound on every fill.

Select "Window >> Alert Manager" to open the Alert Manager. It should give you the source of the alert that is occurring, and you should be able to track it down from there.

nothing in the Log except for a few Time&Sales alters that are muted.

On the Alert Manager window, make sure you select the pages for "Symbol Alert" and "Time Alert" and see if there is anything for those kinds of alerts.

The only other possibility that we can come up with is a custom study that is creating the alert and not adding it to the Alert Manager. Are you running any custom studies?

OK.
So I thought you had it when you lead me to the custom study. I am using a custom study to trigger the trade entries as well as attached orders. And that study did in fact have the Alert enabled. So I disabled the Alert and I'm STILL getting alerts on order fills.

Two things to note:
I have all alerts muted in Window>>Alter Manager>>Mute All Alert Sounds.
This is only happening in Live trading, not in Sim.

I found some settings in Global Settings>>General Settings>>Alerts>> Other Alerts. Chat Window New Message Alert, Chat Window Pending Messages Alert, Chat Window Edited Message Alert. These were filled with an alert sound so I switched all of them to No Alert Sound to see if perhaps that's where it is being generated.

I'm done trading for the day so I'll have to wait for results tomorrow. I will give more feed back then, but if you can think of anywhere else these are being generated please let me know.

User98657 - Two more possibilities I can think of....

1) look into all your chart drawings via Manage Drawings across all charts and chartbooks including the hidden drawings.
2) Go to Chart Settings and see if Alert is enabled under the Alert menu.

I looked in every chart on the one chartbook I have open (the only one I use). Though I only trade off of one chart, I checked all of them, All Drawing Types, All Symbols, no alerts.

Alert is not enabled under Chart Settings>>Alerts.

Can you please give us a copy of the Chartbook and we'll take a look and see if we can figure it out. Follow these instructions to get us the file:

The only thing we see that would be creating an alert is the Time and Sales window which is showing as Chart #11. This Time and Sales window is set to give an alert when the Volume is greater than 50.

But these alerts show in the Alert Manager, so you should be seeing them in there and find it easily.

Otherwise, we are not getting any alerts on any of the charts that are set to allow trading when creating or closing a position. So we are not getting anything on order fills.

We simply do not know what is causing this.

Given that it is only happening in live trading, is it possible that this is connected to Teton?

We wanted to try one more thing in terms live trading versus sim. But we are still not getting any alerts from your chartbook.

There is nothing about using the Teton order routing service that would cause an alert as opposed to any other service.

We are sorry, but we just do not know what is causing this. There does not appear to be anything within the standard Sierra Chart that would do this that you have not already covered.

If you can - run Sierra Chart in "Safe Mode" and make a trade and see if you get the alert. If not, then we would have to point you to a custom study again.

Refer to the following:

User98657 - Some more options to try:
1) Delete all sound files from all your SC folders
2) Go to Global Settings and select "Clear Alert Sound Queue"
3) Install vanila version of Sierra chart in a new folder from scratch
3.1 download the install file. Do not do Fast update.
3.2 Do not copy any of your personal configuration files. Manually configure all your account settings etc
3.3 Do not copy all your chartbooks or trade log folder etc. Only copy the chartbook you use for live trading
3.4 Do not copy any of your intraday or historical data files
4) personal choice: run SC from one main instance and avoid creating a second instance.

That's all I got.... good luck!
