Hello, I wanted to subscribe for a market profile software. Is it mandatory i should have a account with a broker? Or can i subscribe sierra charts tpo charts without having a broker trading account?

You do not need a broker trading account at all. The only question is whether you require real-time futures data for the CME Group. What markets do you need data for or want to trade? For example, what particular futures, Forex or stock symbols. You can also give us the exchanges that the particular symbol or symbols trade on. Thank you. One last thing i would like to know - if i take the package today which is 24th July it will be valid until 23rd of August, correct? Is there any difference in data from denali data with package 11 compare to the data which is included in package 5? Thank you |

If you activate a Package today, it will be good for 31 days. The Sierra Chart packages work on a rolling 31 day cycle. Just so you are aware, the paid exchanges work on a calendar month basis, so if you activated and paid for an exchange today, you would only have that data through the end of this month. You are not needing any of the paid data. You are asking for FOREX and CFD data, which is available for free with any package. In this case it is the same data regardless of whether you are on Package 5 or Package 11 (this is not true for Futures or U.S Equity data - these work differently). Package 11 gives you the ability to get the real-time data from our Denali Exchange Data Feed (you still have to pay exchange fees), and to connect to a trading service. This is the only difference between packages 11 and 5. You need to be on one of the "Integrated" packages in order to be able to get any real-time data for the CME Group, EUREX, CFE, and U.S. Equities. Since you are wanting TPO charts, you will need to be on Package 11 or 12. Refer to the information here: Description of Service Packages and Pricing: Integrated Packages Gold and Silver futures, in particular, are traded on the CME Group within their COMEX exchange. Therefore, you would want to activate an exchange option that includes COMEX for the CME Group. Before you setup the CME Group data, however, you need to understand that the CME Group has a requirement that you have a live, funded, futures trading account in order to get their data at the "non-professional" rate. You can, but you would have to pay the Professional fees for this. The "COMEX for Professionals and users without a trading account" costs $127.00 per month. This is why we recommend having a brokerage account and qualifying for the non-professional pricing, if you can.
