What weekly limit are you referring to? Is there some error message related to this that you can provide us so we can understand. We simply do not have an understanding of the issue at all.

Rithmics 40GB. john already said he would not provide any support for this. I reach this weekly limit for quite some time, no matter how hard I try to compress all data. Regardless how many days Ive loaded.

error: permission denied.

thx!

I do not want to solve the rithmic problem with you. I would like to find a solution to continue to be able to act undisturbed. I need support.

We cannot directly help with this as it is not within our control.

Reduce the amount of symbols you are using. Refer to:
Chart Data and Chart Data Files: Reducing Number of Symbols Being Tracked by Sierra Chart

Increase this setting to 1 Minute:
Data/Trade Service Settings: Intraday Data Storage Time Unit (Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Common Settings)

thx.
as I mentioned earlier, I have set everything that is possible. For my posterity: take alook at the attached files.

without having an available chart, It already requires 3 gb of data although I use the denali and have also explicitly set for historical data.

My opinion compared to linnsoft which is using DTN: The problem has to do with the denali data feed.

i politely say goodbye and thank you for the great time. very sorry about everything.

You are not using the Denali Data Feed!:
I use the denali and have also explicitly set for historical data.

You are using the Rithmic data feed, and that is the reason for the problem.

Never in the history of Sierra Chart have we ever imposed ridiculous limits like this. It is Rithmic and Interactive Brokers who do this. Not Sierra Chart!

Do you want us to enable the Denali Data Feed for you now? We can do that immediately. However, you have to be aware of the following:

According to my account control panel, i use it. i apologize for the misunderstanding.

No, not yet, because i am listed as a professional trader, which would mean I would need to use the CME data package. This is also a cost issue that I need to think about.

Again: Im a big sierra fanboy. and you know that.

I'll get back to you regarding denali feed.

Am I correct in assuming that if I pay the small "mini" package, since I trade exclusively the ES and NQ, then i will never have limited weekly data again and can fully concentrate on my trading, right?

ES and NQ (along with MES and MNQ) are available with the "CME E-Mini for Professionals" exchange.

So yes, if you were to activate that exchange, then the data for those symbols (along with the others that are part of that exchange) would come from us and you would not have the issues you are having with the Rithmic data.

You can activate the exchange at the following link:
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed#Exchanges

Note that you have already filled out the Agreements, which have you listed as a Professional - so you just need to activate the exchange. And since it is a Professional exchange, you do not need to worry about connecting to a live trading account at least once a month - that is only for the non-professional options.

Great. Finally we have this matter settled.. and for gods sake, dont have to switch to linnsoft or any other dusty soft.

I will activate this service next month, otherwise i will pay for three weeks.

Regarding classification as a professional trader. No idea if i was drunk that day, but it's still totally wrong.
I will accept this status and buy the feed from next month until the end of my life.

Thx john! (and dont forget my TPO suggestion)

The thing to keep in mind with regards to the CME Group data, is that in order to qualify as a "Non-Professional", you need to have a live, funded, futures trading account that you can connect your Sierra Chart software to. Prop firm accounts do not count towards this. If you have another account that you can use for this purpose, then you can be classified as a "Non-Professional" for our purposes.

Or, if you do not have another account, then we recommend the solution outlined at the following link, where for $100.00 you can have an account that will work for the CME Group purposes:
Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement
