(user email) We are seeing a unique situation that is happening to a few of our students at the moment. It appears that fake orders are being opened and they stay open so when you go long it closes the short and when you go short again it opens a new long. The account can never reach a "flat" status. These orders do not reflect with AMP or on the account. The only place it is showing is on the chart and on the Trade Window via Sierra Chart. Replacing/Deleting the chart does not solve the issue. Do you have any advice on how I can solve this? On SIM it's fine as you can just clear the history but you cant clear live history. A few of the guys had mini heart attacks when they saw these big offside positions when they opened their Sierra Chart platform before the open today. In the screenshot below you can see the orders coming from yesterday. These were never placed. It just shows up when the next day starts. The only way to close them is to open new orders. It takes on this chain situation where there is always an order open. Thank you Date Time Of Last Edit: 2023-02-10 21:20:10

This is not clear for us. It appears that fake orders are being opened and they stay open
Are you referring to incorrect positions? If so, refer to:These orders do not reflect with AMP or on the account. Trading Information Windows: Incorrectly Reported Trade Position Quantity Sierra Chart could not be causing this: they saw these big offside positions when they opened their Sierra Chart platform before the open today.
Also in the case of Rithmic which looks like you are using from that screenshot, make sure you are running a current version because newer versions do not download historical order fills from Rithmic. Update instructions: Software Download: Fast Update However, historical order fills do not cause changes in the position quantity unless you are using the Order Fill Calculated Position within a particular chart. We also recommend to change to Teton order routing when AMP offers that. Instead of using Rithmic. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
