I can not update the software! Also, I only can see Charts of the ES, and I can not load charts for any other symbols! Also, if you can advice if I have the right setup of Data feeds? Thanks |

First, what error are you getting when you try to update the software? If you are getting an "Access is Denied" message, then refer to the following: Software Download: Resolving 'Access is Denied' Errors Another option in terms of updating is to use the Zip installer. Refer to the following: Software Download: Sierra Chart Zip Installer --- Second, with regards to the data, you are setup to get real-time data for the full CME Group. Are you trying to get data for instruments from another exchange (such as U.S. Stocks, or ICE, or EUREX)? Also, are you using the correct symbols? Are you trying to open the chart using the Find Symbol window to ensure you are selecting the right symbol based on what your trading service is set to? --- Third, the only issue with your data feed setup is that you have the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed enabled, but you do not have any exchanges active. If you want to use data from the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed, then activate the appropriate exchange at the following link: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ExchangeDataFeedFeatures#Exchanges Otherwise, you will want to deactivate the Connection so you are not continuing to pay the connection fee. First, The Message I am getting when I am trying to download the current version and update the software is: "Maximum number of retries encountered. Refer to log. Download canceled. Press 'Install' to retry." Second, I am not trying to get data for any instruments from any other exchange I am not subscribing to! As I mentioned before, my charts is loading smoothly only for the "ES" and it does load very slow, or not loading at all for any other symbol like the "NQ", "RTY", "CL", and "GC". and I am sure that I am using the correct symbols as they are all listed in my "QuoteBoard". Third, right now to trade and to route my orders through my AMP brokerage account, I am still connecting to "CQG WebAPI", while I am getting my data from you, which is costing me more than what I used to, when I was 100% with CQG for both routing and DATA, and as you just told me that I had to activate more exchanges for extra fees. So, I am not sure if the setup I have right now is the right setup, and if there is a better way to save some money! Also, I am not sure if my orders including "Target" and "Stop Loss" orders are software based, or server based orders, since I heard that server based orders are safer just in case I lose internet connection or electricity while I am having an open trade! So please advise on how I can verify that? Thanks |

With regards to the update, we need for you to try the update again, but when it is finished select the button in the upper right for Send Log to Support. Then let us know in this thread that you have done this. Please give us one of the symbols, exactly as it is typed in for the chart, for one of the instruments for which you are having an issue. With regards to using our Denali data versus CQG - we do not support CQG data for the CME Group and EUREX. Therefore, you do need to get the data from us. And your setup looks fine. You have the Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) with Market Depth for nonprofessional Trading accounts. If you do not need the Market Depth data, or if you only need it for 1 or 2 of the 4 exchanges, then you could save some money by activating the Top of Book exchanges for the ones for which you do not need the Market Depth and activating the with Market Depth exchange for the one (or two) that you need market depth data for. The Message Log you provided does not show any charts opened that have the symbol F.US.ENQZ22. Are you having issues with the data from F.US.EPZ22? If you are only having an issue with F.US.ENQZ22, then follow these instructions to get us your Message Log and be sure you open a chart for F.US.ENQZ22 where it states to open a chart for the symbol for which you are having an issue: Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log: Message Log: Clearing the Message Log Open a chart for the symbol you have an issue with. There is nothing in the log that shows any issues with the symbol F.US.ENQZ22. In fact, it shows that the data was downloaded and that it should be working properly. The only thing we see that could be an issue is that you have a lot of charts referencing each other, which you can see by the lines that read "Chart # has tagged Chart # for full recalculation. This is not generally an issue, but it could mean that you have a circular reference somewhere that is causing an issue. Can You please check my current Sierra Chart and the Denali exchange data feed setups and advise if I need to activate anything to be able to trade "Futures Only" through my AMP Brokerage account using their CQG Clearing without a problem? Also, please let me know if you are recommending any other setup! Also, could you please verify if my orders including "Target" and "Stop Loss" orders are setup to be software based, or server based orders, since I heard that server based orders are safer just in case I lose internet connection or electricity while I am having an open trade! So please advise on how I can verify that? Thanks |
