First, what error are you getting when you try to update the software? If you are getting an "Access is Denied" message, then refer to the following: Software Download: Resolving 'Access is Denied' Errors Another option in terms of updating is to use the Zip installer. Refer to the following: Software Download: Sierra Chart Zip Installer --- Second, with regards to the data, you are setup to get real-time data for the full CME Group. Are you trying to get data for instruments from another exchange (such as U.S. Stocks, or ICE, or EUREX)? Also, are you using the correct symbols? Are you trying to open the chart using the Find Symbol window to ensure you are selecting the right symbol based on what your trading service is set to? --- Third, the only issue with your data feed setup is that you have the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed enabled, but you do not have any exchanges active. If you want to use data from the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed, then activate the appropriate exchange at the following link: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ExchangeDataFeedFeatures#Exchanges Otherwise, you will want to deactivate the Connection so you are not continuing to pay the connection fee.
