Major Denali LAG during NFP

Denali experienced a major lag/glitch this morning during NFP. Numbers on the DOM totally scattered. This lasted for 30-40 seconds. My CPU usage never changed or went high. My other(non SC) data feeds used on other(non SC) platforms did not lag or glitch at all.

This post is for helping improve Denali and not for being critical. Just my observation.

We do not know what is meant by this:
Numbers on the DOM totally scattered.

This does not make technical sense. Even if there is a lag, the data feed is going to be functioning correctly at all times.

And the origin of the lag is not known either. It generally is very unlikely to be a lag at the server level. And the lagging issue would be somewhere else.

Maybe if you are connected to a secondary server there could have been a lag but not at the origin in Chicago. Provide a copy of the Message Log:

We also need to know the time you encountered the problem.

7:30 CST for 30-40 seconds. Remember this is not a critical observation of Denali, just my experience. My SC is running on a server in Chicago.

Nevertheless we must see the Message Log so we know what server you were connected to at the time. Otherwise, the report is meaningless. It is extremely difficult/impossible to determine the origin of a lag. It is extremely unlikely and we really do not believe it was at the server level in Chicago. Most likely the lag is with a particular ISP, or you are using a secondary server.

You might have been connected to a secondary server in the Northwest. We are going to remove that from the list of servers.

Sorry I restarted my SC and server after I posted this initial post. I do not have message logs set to save to file either, so the log is gone.

Ok we need to know when this happens again because without the Message Log there is no way we can track it down.

We do have concerns when a user is connected to a secondary server and we have removed one of those from the list of available servers.

We will also be doing some updates over the weekend and we do have a new server in the Aurora DC we will be also using for real-time data distribution.

This hopefully make my latency better than it has been. I can ping places in Aurora from my server with <1ms latency, Best I ever see on my computer TCP Connections under Sierra Chart is 5ms, but usually here lately 15ms-75ms
