Connection problem

I have a new computer, and am unable to connect to Sierra Charts with my account Transact_User_domenari. I have sent you the message log. The error message I get is "Connection error message from service TransAct WS Account logon error -1(-1).

I have tried everything, setting the SC user account name and password and my Transact account number in the Global Settings/Data/Trade Service Settings window. When I try to do File/Connect to Data Feed, it's greyed out. What am I supposed to do???

We have no control over this issue with Transact. It is not something we can help with other than request that you move to our replacement solution for Transact users.

And also refer to information here regarding Transact for the replacement solution we have provided Transact users:

I am sorry to hear about the connection issues with Transact/Infinity. Stage 5 Trading is a brokerage firm that firmly stands behind Teton Order Routing and are here to help in anyway that we can. I am a former Infinity Futures Broker and I believe the best solution would be to switch to Sierra Teton Order Routing with Denali for real time and historical data. This is all maintained by Sierra directly, which I feel provides great benefits to traders as Sierra can focus on enhancements instead of maintenance of other third party order routing feeds. In addition, I feel it is the best overall quality and value for traders. As far as I understand, the Transact connection is in the process of no longer being supported by Sierra Chart.


You can open an account for as little as $100 and you will receive $0.20 per side commissions on the micros and $0.45 commissions on non micros plus exchange and regulatory fees.
