Your account is all setup properly to receive the data from us. Therefore, we would need to see your Message Log. Please follow these instructions:

Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:
Message Log: Clearing the Message Log

Open a chart for the symbol you have an issue with. Tell us that symbol of the chart.

Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect".

Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed".

After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#MessageLog

We will then determine what the problem is.

------------

Separately, we noted that you have multiple exchange active that are not necessary. What data are you wanting from the CME Group? What exchanges within the CME Group are you wanting Market Depth data?

Hi John. Thank you for replying.

Symbol of the chart is D6H10, it's an Intraday chart. The "M" does show up on the Daily chart for D6H10.

Thank you for noticing that I have multiple exchange active - I'm not sure why this would be, possibly I goofed something up while switching from CQG to Denali last night. Or possibly it's because I am under the impression that I have a 1 month free trial of data feed from Denali and that all features are free for the month. I was prompted to add many features during the switch to Denali that I wouldn't normally request.

At present the data I want from the CME Group are Currency futures data, especially for the Canadian Dollar, which I believe is from the CME. Currently I would like Daily and Intraday history for the Canadian dollar from the early 2000's to present if possible.
At present I do not want data from other exchanges like CBOT or NYMEX.
I am not looking for Market Depth data at present either.

Thank you very much for your help.

Hi John,

I noticed today that the symbol in top left corner of chart window changes from “CA6XYY-CME[M]” to “D6XYY” (note no [M]) when I close Chartbooks and then open a different Chartbook. So, if a chartbook with symbol “CA6XYY-CME[M]” is open and I close it, all the information in the top left corner of the chart window goes away. Then when I open a new chartbook, the symbol is “D6XYY”.
I can get back to the “CA6XYY-CME[M]” symbol by clicking on Global Settings-> Data Trade Service Settings, toggling to CQG WebAPI, clicking “Apply All”, then clicking “Yes” to “Data or Trading service has changed. Do you want to translate the symbols in the open Chartbooks to match the selected service?”, which changes the symbol to “F.US.CA6XYY[M]” (note the [M] has reappeared) and then going back to Global Settings-> Data Trade Service Settings, toggling to SC Data – All Services, clicking “Apply All” and clicking “Yes” to “Data or Trading service has changed. Do you want to translate the symbols in the open Chartbooks to match the selected service?”.
I don’t know if this has anything to do with the issue but, either way, something seems off.

Kindly advise. Thank you.

With regards to post #4. This explains all of it. You have to have the symbol set correctly for the particular service that you have selected. We take care of dealing with the symbol for the service and mapping it to the correct symbol to get your data. Therefore, when you are connected to CQG, you need to have the symbol F.US.CA6XYY and when you are connected to SC Data - All Services, it needs to be 6CXYY-CME.

The first, and easiest way, to handle this is to just stay connected to CQG all the time and use the CQG symbols.

But, if you do need to switch services for some reason, then just be sure you select the option to update the symbols when you get off the Data/Trade Service Settings Window and it prompts you for this. You can also update the symbols at any time by selecting Edit >> Translate Symbols to Current Service, which you would need to do if you open a new Chartbook after changing services.

---------------

With regards to Post #3 - and your data. We see that you have deactivated the exchanges except for the Full CME Group with Market Depth. We just want to point out that if you really just need the data for the Canadian Dollar and you do not need Market Depth, then you could just use the CME Non-Professional Top-of-Book exchange for $1.25 per month.
