horizontal scroll in installed studies of thstudy paneh missing

The vertical scrollbar of the installed studies panel is present but the horisontal scroll bar at the bottom is missing. I caanot change the size of the screen and restart does not help. any suggestuon? the above is true only in the 1 minut chart, the 5 mt chrt study panel has the horizotl and vertical scoll bars present. There is no support for a vertical scrollbar.

working on changinb to Teton. meanwhile ccan you please answer my question?. what is wrong with it ? I do my best explaning my question even if it is longer than you like.The study window has two panels the left shows the availBLE STUDIES AND THE RIGHT SHOWS THE SELECED STUDIES APPLIED TO THE ChARTS, THE right PANEL IS the one having the problem. in that the scroll bar at its ottom is available to scoll the list above horizontally. there is no right vertcal column to scroll the list vertically. MY question is how to get that vetical column to be able to scoll the list vertically? The scroll bar will not show up until you have enough studies added to the chart to require the scroll bar. This is somewhere around 16 added studies. Do you have more than this in the list? i have at least 16 studies on page1 of the study's panel. cannot see subsequent studies pages due to inability to scroll down. please send me guidancw how to send you a screen shot. |

It's ok, do not worry about the screen image. When things like this occur, most of the time it is due to a lack of resources on the computer. The thing to do is to close down Sierra Chart and any other running programs, then reboot your computer. Start Sierra Chart again and let us know if you still have an issue. yes . I stopped SC and all other programs. rebooted the computr with SC only running, Same problem no vertcal scrolling in 1mt chart. 5 mt chart has horizinta and Vertical bars for scrolling left right up and down

Please try adding a few more studies to the 1 minute chart where you are not seeing the scroll bar on the Studies to Graph area. We want to ensure that there are enough studies to force the scroll bar to show up.

I can assure you there are more studies in the 1mt chart to warrant the appearance of the vertical scroll bar. My study panel for the 1 mt chart has 17 lines per full window. and one study in that first window has an ID of 57 indicating there are at least 57 studies in the 1 mt chart. My guess I should have from 50 to 75 studies in the 1 mt chart, more than enough to warrant the vertcal scr0ll bar to appear,and maybe scr0lling 2-3 screens over as a minimum. in an attempy to further investigte this isse, I opened a previous chartbook of 1/16/22 version 2233, and its sudy panel showed the vertical and horizontal scroll bars were pesent in the installed panel of the study. i upgrade this chartbook to the recent version 2348, and the vertical scroll bar of the installed study panel disappeared. I can only surmize Ssomething changed Your end between versions 2233 and 2248. just FYI.

Im am now running Version 2333 with the vertical and Horizontal scr0ll bars on. fearing upgrading to current version 2348 for loss of vertical scoll bar

We are not able to reproduce this, therefore there is nothing we can do to try and "fix" it, as we do not know where the problem is coming from. If you can get us your Chartbook, we can take a look and see if maybe we can reproduce it with your chartbook. thr question I have is whther any changes were made in the proram between version 2339 and 2348 that could havw affected the vertical scoll line is the Study window? since the vrtical scoll bar is present in verssuin 2333 and not in version 2348 scroll bar

There have not been any changes to that specific area of the code. We have not been doing any work on those older dialogs, as we are working on our new ones (many of the Settings dialogs are the new format).
