SC/Rithmic - Charts do not download

Hello,

This morning I update SierraChart to the lastest version (2314).

Since this update, I have two problems.

SC connects to Rithmic but for the Dow Jones, but it can't download the chart. It says "Downloading Historical Data. Mars may not appear until done" but it never download. Even after 1 hour. As you can see on the attached screenshot.

For the FDAX it's worse. SC displays nothing as you can see on the second image.

I search on the website but I don't find the solution. I try this Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service but it change nothing.

I hope you can help me.

An other information I forget.

For the Dow, the market deepth is working. I can see the bid and the ask moving.

With regards to the EUREX data, the issue is that you need to be on Package 11 in order to get that data from Rithmic. Refer to the information here:

To change your Sierra Chart Service Package, select "Help >> Account Control Panel" on the Sierra Chart program menu. On the displayed webpage, click on the "Set Service Package for Renewal" link.

You will need to login if you are not currently logged in.

In the "Available Services >> Choose Usage Time Service Package" frame, select the Service Package that you want to set your account to. Press the "Set" button.

The remaining service usage time on your account will be adjusted based upon the cost of the package you are changing to. If the new package is a higher-priced package, then the usage time will be reduced due to the higher price.

There is no charge for changing your Sierra Chart service package. Only your Sierra Chart account usage time ending date is adjusted.

With regards to the MYM data, you first need to understand that Rithmic does not have any historical data that we can use in Sierra Chart, so if you are getting the Real-Time data, but just not getting historical data (from when you were not connected to the data feed) then that is normal for this connection.

The solution to the above is to use the Denali Exchange Data Feed instead. Refer to the following for more information:

Regarding Rithmic historical Intraday data, they do have historical data but it is limited. They say that they are going to solve that issue but it is limited. In any case we always recommend using the Denali Exchange Data Feed for the best, fastest and most reliable historical data:

Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:

Open a chart for the symbol you have an issue with. Tell us that symbol of the chart.

Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect".

Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed".

After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:

Hello,

Thank you for your answer.

For the moment, my broker is Amp with Rithmic. But I can change.

What is the easiest and less expensive solution to have Sierra Chart with data (real-time and historical), market depth and exchange route?

I usually trade the Dax future and the Dow Jones future.

Next week will be officially releasing our CME Direct Order Routing Service, which is available through Stage 5 brokers. Refer to the information in this post (particularly the last entry):

This is the service we recommend if you are only trading the CME Group at the moment (we will be adding EUREX order routing soon). The only additional cost will be an order routing fee. We have not set an absolute price yet, but it will NOT be more than $0.10 per side and we are looking at a price of $0.05 per side (this is discussed in post #36 in the thread referenced above).

Therefore, you would have your Sierra Chart package price (Package 11 is $46.00 USD per month) and the exchange fees, and the order routing fee.

Hello,

This is good news. I am of course interested.

But I will wait until Eurex is integrated into the routing service. Like many europeans, I like to trade the DAX in the morning.

I also received an email from AMP saying that this routing service will be integrated into AMP's offer in a while.

While waiting for your routing service, I think I will continue with AMP.

If I take the Service Package 12 and the "SierraChart - Denali - CQG (No Data - Order Routing only)" service from AMP, will the platform be operational? Will I have access to Sierra Chart with data (real-time and historical), market depth and exchange route?

Yes, that will work fine. You will just need to setup the Denali Exchange Data Feed by following these instructions for the CME Group:
