Hi,

Im switching to OneUp Trader and need some help identifying the service package I need and also how to switch without incurring denali data feed costs.

My understanding is that I dont need the Denali feed as this is provided through Rithmic/ OneUp but to use charting (Sierra is my preferred) Id need the standard or advanced Sierra service package.

Can you confirm this and also advise the best way to ensure that I switch over disconnecting Denali and activating just a service package (Advanced is what Im intending to proceed with).

Is it just a matter of selecting package 5 and ignoring any denali data feed options?

Also do you have any advice regarding OneUp/ Rithmic. I understand there isnt support provided for Rithmic so unsure if there is anything specific I need to do to enable my data and trading capabilities.

Thanks

We do have support for Rithmic again, at least in terms of placing orders. You just need to use the new interface that they have made available. To do this, you will follow these instructions to setup your Sierra Chart:
Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions

In terms of the package, we do require that you be on Package 5 or higher in order to work with Rithmic. Therefore, just select Package 5 and you will be fine.

In order to activate a service package, follow these instructions:
Sierra Chart Purchase and License Information: Instructions
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

Hi per request here is my support request followup

[3] 2021-09-09 04:00:45 UTC | Username : FT pers trial | | Status : Open

Hi, Ive been through multiple support calls with OneUp Trader who have checked my Rithmic and Sierra setup per the setup instructions, but they have now referred me back to Sierra.

Can you please assist.

One thing I did see was that I may need a higher package (Im on 5 and may require 10+) but I dont understand why as the datafeed component should be covered by Rithmic/ OneUp, and I will use Sierra for my charting needs (therefore using the advanced package).

Can you please assist as this is now becoming extremely frustrating

I have also just uploaded afew files showing my Sierra error and Rithmic login/ error. It appears I cant have both Rithmic open with my Sierra charts application. When I open Sierra or try to open Rithmic when Sierra is already open I get the multiple sessions error from Rithmic and have to close it.

Also my data is not updating in Sierra.

Interestingly I did have live data acouple of days ago using my previously configured settings but this now doesnt seem to be the case.

Update Sierra Chart to the current version following these instructions:
Software Download: Fast Update

And translate the symbols in your Chartbooks following these instructions:
Edit Menu: Edit >> Translate Symbols To Current Service

And you should use the Denali Exchange Data Feed for complete and reliable data, otherwise you are going to have market data issues:
Denali Exchange Data Feed

*Please pay attention* to what we say because we don't want to hear about continued problems with Rithmic data. We will not provide support for that.

I need and also how to switch without incurring denali data feed costs.
Do not try to avoid this. You need to use the Denali data feed.

Thanks for your response, but I find it abit rude to be honest. I am paying attention, however your platform whilst it has the required information is not very clear. For instance my followup question to you is what is the difference between Denali Data Feed (attachment 1) contained in the service package and the Denali Exchange Data Feed (attachment 2) that is paid on a monthly basis?

The fact that they are basically called the same thing, does not make it clear to me whether I can just buy package 11 and I will get access to the data feed I need or whether I also need the monthly feed cost.

Also to be clear I was not "trying to avoid this", I was simply looking at securing the required services at the minimum cost, and as per above am still unsure of whether the monthly cost is required to operate with OneUpTrader and The Rithmic software or whether I just need to upgrade to a package above 10 (which I have just done - package 11).

So can you please advise asap whether i also need the monthly data feed, as Id like to finalise this issue as soon as possible, which has taken me away from my trading for nearly 2 weeks now.

The only result will be problems for you, continued waste of time support burden for us, and a poor impression of Sierra Chart.

You are asking about the difference between the cost of the data feed, and the exchange fees. This is explained here:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: Pricing

You need to activate the required exchanges here for the Denali Exchange Data Feed:
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed

In your case, you will be authorized for the nonprofessional exchanges since you have a TT trading account assigned to your Sierra Chart account.
