setting up a second computer

Hi, I just finished setting up sierra charts on a laptop for travel, this is my second terminal. I have a desktop with SC on it and its my main terminal. after going through the processes of setting everything up I connected to data I am getting delayed data. How do I change that to live data? I went through the setup process and it doesnt seem to be working. Please help. thank you |

Keep in mind that although you are allowed to run the Sierra Chart software on 2 different computers at the same time, the data does not have the same rules. The exchanges, require that you pay twice if you want to get the data on 2 different computers at the same time. But, as long as you are only connected to one or the other at the same time, then there is not a problem. But, we think that you probably had both connected at the same time. Make sure that this is not the case and that the Laptop is the only one running Sierra Chart at that time and see if you are able to get the real-time data. If not, then get us your Message Log by following these instructions: Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log: Message Log: Clearing the Message Log Open a chart for the symbol you have an issue with. Tell us that symbol of the chart. Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect". Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed". After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#MessageLog We will then determine what the problem is. First, thank you for taking the time to review my issue. I tried clearing it and then disconnecting and connecting again and the problem remains the same. I also noticed that in global settings / Data / trade service setting its connected to SC /TT Futures order routing (trading) and on my main work station (the one I have no issues of real time data) it appears as SC /TT Futures order routing data and trading. You need to go to File >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings and set the setting for Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds to Yes. Then select File >> Disconnect followed by File >> Connect to Data Feed and you should be getting the real-time data.
