Hi
I am currently on service package '5' paying $36 monthly.
I wish to go to package 11 which is the live data with same criteria as service package '5' i beleive.
I then read i need to have a trading account for the live data.

1. is this true
2. Whats he best way to achieve this. I read about the AMP account example but l don't understand
the CQG data / Denali data situation in this case. Please clarify as l don't understand what your documentation
in this regard means.
Thanks in advance

The CME Group has a requirement that in order to qualify for their Non-Professional Exchange Fees, you need to have a funded futures trading account. If you do not, then you have to pay the (much) higher Professional rates. Refer to the information here:
Real-Time Exchange Data Feeds Available From Sierra Chart: Understanding and Accessing Data From the CME, CBOT, NYMEX, COMEX Exchanges

We offer the service that is outlined in the section Easy Solution to CME Funded Trading Account Requirement in combination with AMP. Due to recent changes, you would be setup with CQG as the trading service and you would need to connect to that account at least once a month. We will be working on this to make it more automated, but this is the current solution. You will find the information here:

Hi
Thanks for your reply. Sierra chart recommends the following:
Effective July 1, 2019, Sierra Chart recommends that you use the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service with Data if you are trading only the CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX markets. This is an improved service in regards to functionality and connectivity as compared to CQG.

How can i achieve this?

You would need to find a broker that supports TT for trading. Then you can get setup using the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service. This is NOT supported by AMP any longer. But you will find a partial list of Brokers at Step #2 here:

Hi
Thanks for the reply. I have tried AMP twice through you link and have not had any replies.
This is the third day.
Is this normal.?
If l registered with AMP directly from their website would it make any difference?
Thanks in advance

Do you want real-time data for the CME Group of exchanges? If you want to open a trading account for only 100 USD you would use the broker AMP in this case and they will set you up on the CQG system in this case which Sierra Chart can connect to authorize the CME data.

Otherwise, if you just want data for EUREX or other exchanges, there is no need for a funded trading account.

Hi
I have a new funded AMP futures account.
I am now on AMP website logged in.
l am currently on advanced package 11 (Denali feed and advanced package) and am using AMP for live data purposes for now.
Forgive for sounding dumb but l am now confused what to do next.
I am on AMP 'Platform setup' and l am confused which option to choose in the "which Datafeed" options. Please see attached image for options.
My questions are
1. Which option do i pick ( preference is Live Denali feed but use AMP for live CME data purposes).
2. Choosing the "Sierra Chart - Denali - CQG(No Data - order Routing only)" option does not then ask to pay and exchange fees so is this the correct option
as l am using you Denali data feed?
Thanks in advance

1. You need to select "DISABLE All Exchange Data". You are not getting your Sierra Chart through AMP, so the option for "Sierra Chart - Denali - CQG (No Data - Order Routing Only)" is not valid. Once you get your CQG credentials from AMP, then follow these Setup Instructions to connect your Sierra Chart to CQG:
CQG Trading Platform Service

2. You will then need to finish setting up your Denali Exchange Data Feed. Go through the Setup Instructions starting here:
Denali Exchange Data Feed

Once you are done setting up the Denali Exchange Data Feed, then go through this last set of instructions to make sure your software is setup properly for the data feed:

Hi John
firstly thanks for your prompt reply.
I followed your instructions.
1. I successfully through Sierra Char connected to CQG and it was a live feed as it was not showing the word 'Delayed'.
I then switched back to 'SC Data' and its showing delayed.
Please advise

You have not finished setting up your Denali Exchange Data Feed. You need to activate the exchange(s) you want on this page:
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=DenaliDataFeed

The reason you received Real-Time data when you were connected to CQG is that you must be setup to get data from CQG. Once you get the exchange activated and you see an [M] behind the symbol in the Chart Header, then you can tell your broker to stop the data from CQG.

Hi John
I forgot to mention , after choosing the "DISABLE All Exchange Data" in the AMP live platform section as advised l did not receive
a login for CQG. I contacted AMP support explaining l will be using the Sierra Chart data feed. and they said l need to choose the
"Sierra Chart - Denali - CQG(No Data - order Routing only)" option. I did this and received the CQG login details. Have l done something incorrect?
