Hi Support, I have three accounts with IB that I would like to use the trade copier function. I followed the instructions on your web site and have configured as instructed (see attached screen shots). My Main account ends in 00. When a trade is placed in the 00 account, the trade is placed in 00 but not in the other two. However, when I flatten the trade in 00, 00 flattens but the other two accounts put on positions automatically, even though I hit flatten. Yikes! Good thing I am practicing to see if it works. Also, a trade confirmation window opens even though I have the trade confirmations turned off under settings. This is after I downloaded to the lastest version of SC version 1967 64 bit. Please help! |

When a trade is placed in the 00 account, the trade is placed in 00 but not in the other two. Check the Trade >> Trade Orders and Positions >> Orders tab and see if you see the orders there. Maybe the orders are getting rejected. You cannot turn off trade confirmations with order allocation. This is a safety feature. We will not change that. And be sure to test this functionality with a paper trading account at Interactive Brokers first. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Hi, No, the orders for accounts ending in 33 and 83 are not getting rejected. When a market order is placed in 00, 33 and 83 are just not getting placed. But opposite orders (sells) are getting placed on 33 and 83 when flatten is manually pressed on 00 (which is not what is supposed to happen). Again, When originally long in 00, no positions or orders exist on 33 and 83. But when flatten is hit on 00, 33 and 83 go short the position size. Also, when setting a buy limit order using attached orders in 00, the buy limit orders are not resting on 33 and 83 either. And when the 00 buy limit triggers into the trade, orders are not placed on 33 or 83, nor are they rejected. What else can I do to get you more information to solve this problem? |
