At the moment, developers seem to have to waste money buying some service package even in the cases where minimal chart functionality is only needed / when development does not need a certain Data feed. This is especially frustrating for developers that just need to test functionality of studies they write and any market data could do. Even data previously downloaded and not needing any connection to some trial data feed. I'm a bit new to Sierra Chart, so maybe I do not know various options SC makes available to help their community of developers, so please enlighten me if there is indeed options out there. Otherwise, perhaps you would consider providing extra support to your developer community and provide some minimal functional software that could be used for testing ACSIL studies without the developer needing to waste money to an unreasonable and ungenerous extent. No, this is not the case, Sierra Chart is still mostly functional when your account is expired and has access to the existing data downloaded and received and can be used. You just cannot connect to an external service.Even data previously downloaded and not needing any connection to some trial data feed. Data previously downloaded can be used. waste money to an unreasonable and ungenerous extent. Even if hypothetically you did need to pay for a month of usage time, 24 USD for an entire month does not match up with the words you use.

I see. I have tried but it has never worked for me. The chart from downloaded data does not show up and I cannot seem to be able to access other studies (though, I work on custom studies). Even if hypothetically you did need to pay for a month of usage time, 24 USD for an entire month does not match up with the words you use.
You are expected to say that, however, it is quite a lot especially when only 1 or 2 hours is needed for testing in simple cases and perhaps a 2 or 3 days for other cases. If you hypothetically billed your users on a per hour basis that adds up to 24 USD a month (IF used for that long), than sure, your words would be a bit more acceptable. We just tested this now ourselves and we could open both historical Daily and Intraday charts for an expired account. No problems and we can also use studies. Some studies like the Numbers Bars and TPO Profile Charts studies will not display anything though.Anyway we reactivated your account. Ackin, I'm quite serious about this. Not everyone is like you and wants to learn C++ to make a trading system or indicator too complex for the built-in formulas. I'm sure you noticed the "Study & System Programmers" section. $24 a month is more than a waste for a programmer who only needs a few hours. However, it would seem there is an option I did not know about indicated by support. Some studies like the Numbers Bars and TPO Profile Charts studies will not display anything though.
Ah, then that is my problem. I'm currently working on a simple study revolving around one of those studies. Again, it would be useful not to have to buy a whole months worth as that definitely is a waste for me. Anyway we reactivated your account. Thanks I guess... if there truly is no other option for my case then I won't complain. However, I do feel the experience could be made better for developers. How, I'll let you guys think about that. I don't suppose you could implement hourly billing in a future release. That would certainly help those people who help traders use your software and develop studies for them (by not having to give away $24 dollars or more out of a job to Sierra Chart unnecessarily).
