developers seem to have to waste money buying some service package even in the cases where minimal chart functionality is only needed / when development does not need a certain Data feed. No, this is not the case, Sierra Chart is still mostly functional when your account is expired and has access to the existing data downloaded and received and can be used. You just cannot connect to an external service.Even data previously downloaded and not needing any connection to some trial data feed. Data previously downloaded can be used. waste money to an unreasonable and ungenerous extent. Even if hypothetically you did need to pay for a month of usage time, 24 USD for an entire month does not match up with the words you use.
