We assume you have an Interactive Brokers account. If so, you start Trader Workstation and connect to it once this month. Refer to the instructions here:
Interactive Brokers Trading Service: Setup Instructions

And then when done, just set Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service back to SC Data - All Services .

You do not need to do anything else. You do not need to change the symbols of the charts.

Hi I followed as much as I can understand on that link. However it still doesn't work.

Other than this problem, since 1 Aug, I have problems having live feeds on HSI HengSengIndex too.

I am wondering if you guys can do a remote-control session on my computer.

Once we know we will activate it for you. - Yes pls do so. I thought you meant it's not activated on IB side and as I checked with them, it's activated on IB side.

Also you are not able to successfully connect Sierra Chart to your Interactive Brokers account? - I am not sure, how to check? It was working fine before 1 Aug

Actually I am not sure why the HK Futures exchange is inactive on my account. I have been using it since I started using your service and paying for it and the payment has been set to auto-renew. What is the reason for lacking this feed since 1 Aug? I would like to avoid having the same problem next month. It has caused me 7 days not being to trade already.

The reason that HKFE was disabled is: Access to Custom Study (RcorderflowFeature) removed.

We have reactivated it for you. You should begin to receive the real-time data now. Please confirm.

Let us know if you are receiving real-time data for CME symbols. If not, we will call and help you get connected to Interactive Brokers TWS to resolve this issue.

You need to do this because the Chicago Mercantile exchange requires this absurd practice.

It really is very very very very very very wrong for what they do. It is quite absurd.


This is an absolute monumental waste of our time because of their outrageous greed.

We actually have another complaint from another user, related to the EUREX. The policies of the exchanges are absolutely despicable. They are treating us as if we are slaves and causing massive complaints and frustrations not only for us but our users as well. You should see this latest complaint. And it all centers around the exchange fee policies which are ridiculous.
