We assume you have an Interactive Brokers account. If so, you start Trader Workstation and connect to it once this month. Refer to the instructions here:
Interactive Brokers Trading Service: Setup Instructions

And then when done, just set Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service back to SC Data - All Services .

You do not need to do anything else. You do not need to change the symbols of the charts.
