Dear Sierra Chart Support Team, I hope this message finds you well. I am encountering an issue with managing chart tabs in a Chartbook on Sierra Chart. I am working with a Chartbook which currently includes three separate tabs: one for a Volume Profile, one for a DOM, and one for a Footprint chart . Each tab is configured with specific settings, and I have attached a screenshot showing my current setup, where the Footprint is in a separate floating window, while the Profile and DOM are in another window. My goal is to have the Profile and DOM combined in a single window (as a single chart), with their alignment preserved, and the Footprint in a separate, independent window. However, when I use the Window > Tile Vertically option to arrange my windows, all the charts (Profile, DOM, and Footprint) overlap or get mixed together in the same window, disrupting the alignment of the Profile and DOM. I want to avoid this overlap and ensure that the Footprint remains in its own window without affecting the Profile/DOM window. |

We are not understanding what you are trying to do, particularly since the image only shows 2 charts and one minimized chart. And we do not understand how "Tile Vertically" can end up arranging "my windows, all the charts (Profile, DOM, and Footprint) overlap or get mixed together in the same window, disrupting the alignment of the Profile and DOM" They should definitely not overlap. That is the whole purpose of Tiling. But there is no guarantee on alignment. Hello John, I want the Profile/DOM to stay as they are, and the Footprint to only show in its own window when I click it, without messing up Profile/DOM.

if I try to remove or expand the Footprint, Sierra Chart expands everything, removing the alignment of Profile/DOM, which makes it unusable. Same thing happens when I use Tile Vertically—Footprint mixes with Profile/DOM and ruins their setup.

When you restore the Footprint chart, it should not affect the other charts layout. Selecting one of the Tile options will definitely change the way things are aligned. The one thing we think you may want to do is to "Detach" the Footprint chart from the main window. This way when you restore it, it will always be separate from the main window and will not affect the alignment of the other charts. There is no mechanism for "Locking" together windows/charts. But once you have them in a position where you want them, then they should open in that position whenever you start Sierra Chart.

No, Every time I switch charts, it separates the DOM from the profile tab.

What do you mean they "separate"? The windows should stay in the same position. Although you would not be able to necessarily view them together. Again, there is no way to "Lock" windows together.
