Hello, I am a customer of a broker working with Sierra.
Latelly I ve been testing the platform again and I am liking it very very much. However I am having a small problem sometimes. When a market explodes in volume because of a news event related to it, Sierra Chart will stay cool as a cucumber, not asking much of my processor, however dtcbridge.exe explodes in demand and completelly freezes the trading machine throwing data very very slowly at Sierra Chart. I understand the volume erupts and that the data program has to deal with it, but it s getting to a point where I can t trade at all and have lags of several seconds, 5 to 10 sometimes or more. The trading machine is great and handles many other programs with no hicups, like CQG and even Ninja Trader. But I am trying to leave those for Sierra.
Is there a way to tune the DTCBridge program so that it consumes less processor cycles?

Thanks in advance.

Are you running any firewall software on the computer other than the Windows firewall?

Anyway, we know what the problem is and this will be solved in the next release coming out in one or two more days. We do not think we have had a report like this before, but we will reduce the frequency of the interaction with the local network socket to avoid something like this.
